[Rapunzel Mavis' sits down, her long blond hair flowing around her in waves and her little wing-like pins fluttering gently. She frowns, slightly embarrassed.]

Mun... Stop pouting, please. [Or poking her, or making puppy eyes or whatever other form of emotional blackmail her Mun can come up with.] I can't tell you yet.

And seriously... The members of my guild have been waiting for years to learn about that. [And Zeref has probably been waiting for a lot longer than that for Mavis to finally tell Natsu about it.] So now that you know for sure that you'll learn in the next chapter what happened between me and Zeref, I'm sure you can wait one more week.

...Please?

[It's going to be a loooong week. For both of them.]

It's not too surprising. They've both been... [She blushes.] theorizing a lot about us, after all.

I'm not mad at them, though. They care about us.

Will you be telling Fairy Tail in Genessia, too? { Lucy's been wanting answers, after all. }

When or if it ever matters in Genessia then, yes, I will.

Do you think it does now?

Genessia means something close to "a new beginning", Zeref. [And so far Zeref and Mavis have been doing pretty well on that regard, if she may say so herself.] The way I see it, I will have to tell them if not knowing might put them at risk.

I guess not.

{ Natsu seemed happy, for now. And even if he did know the truth, it wouldn't matter. Zeref can't die in that world. Nobody can. Besides, Fairy Tail has apparently been covering up Zeref's involvement with their founders in general and Mavis in particular for a century now. What difference does it make in a different world? }

So even if they ask why you and I have been seeing each other, you won't tell them?

I already did tell them why.

Because we're old friends, because we enjoy each other's company and because someone has to keep an eye on you.

[She's always honest with her guild members. That doesn't mean she feels like she has to tell them everything. She doesn't want to traumatize them... yet.]

Fair enough, I suppose. { Even if, knowing Natsu, that won't be enough for him. Still, he doubts Natsu will try to argue with Mavis, and even if he does, he knows Mavis of all people won't budge. He'll have to live with it. }

I'm glad we have this opportunity.

My Mun claims six days is a long time away. [And mentioned something about "having a morning class so she won't be able to read it until later", but Wendy knows better.

She sighs.] This is the same person who said her summer break went by too quickly...

You shouldn't have said that, Wendy. I'm afraid my Mun is going to take this as an encouragement to continue. [Yup, your Mun totally is going to take that as her cue to keep doing it!]

[Mavis has to chuckle at the last part.] Time is... a curious thing. Things we want never come soon enough, things we dread seem inevitable and things we enjoy last the blink of an eye. But at least, we remember them forever.

Ah, I-I'm really sorry! [She bows frantically.] I think next Monday will come a lot sooner than both our Muns think!


[Nods.] I agree. It's the same with how long ago certain events were—some feel like they happened not so long ago when at least a few months have passed! [Or vice versa.]

...By the way, do you know why my Mun keeps talking about a ship? I don't know what boats have to do with the next chapter...

She had to ask, didn't she? XD

[fairysoul]

[Mavis glances at her Mun who does not look convinced.] Hopefully...

[Mavis nods.] I've noticed that too.

[That last question has Mavis instantly blush all over. Her Mun always manages to put her in embarrassing situations. Wether directly or indirectly.] Well... I agree the term can be kinda misleading at first... But from what I've gathered, when Muns use that word, they mean 'ships' as in relation'ships'. Romantic relationships, to be exact. [So nope, nothing to do with boats, Wendy. But Mavis' Mun found your question very cute. <3]

R-Romantic...!? [Her cheeks turn red. She remains silent for a moment.] Th-That explains why mine talks about ships so frequently.........

[A sigh.] Thinking about it now, that might be why she's so excited about the next chapter.

[She originally thought it was either because she loved their canon or because she loved hearing characters' backstories (or both).]

I guess it does. [Mavis ponders this a moment.] At least, romance is a positive thing. [She's told some Muns can be pretty cruel to their muses. In that light, shipping doesn't sound like such a bad thing.]

Mmm. Though my Mun seems to think they might have to wait for more than one chapter to learn the whole story. She said something about the author being... a "troll"? But I don't think she means a real troll. I'm pretty positive the author of our story is fully human.

[Muns can be so confusing sometimes.]

[An awkward chuckle.] That's true. And it almost always makes mine happy, which makes me happy, too!

[Of course, she doesn't know all the people her Mun ships. And she definitely doesn't know who she ships her with...]

A troll author, huh... [She imagines a troll!Lucy writing a story. ........Nope, she doesn't want to imagine it anymore. Moving on!] ...I think it makes sense for the author to spend a few chapters writing your and Zeref's story. It would be rushed otherwise, and I don't think any of our Muns would like that...

[fairiesinourhearts]

He better have taken care of him. I won't forgive him, otherwise.

[fairysoul]

Zeira... [She bits her lip. Before forcing a happy smile on her lips.] You're such a good friend.

I promised I'd always protect you, didn't I? That won't stop just because you can't see me anymore!

[fairysoul]

You did. [Mavis places one hand above her heart.] And I can always see you. [Remember what you said before disappearing, Zeira? Mavis hasn't forgotten.]

Mavis ....You're still too cute!

Well as a former guild master, I don't know if it's a good thing or not.

[A pause.]

Had you expected me to have changed that much, then?

[She does have changed. Granted no one stays exactly the same over a century, especially someone who's gone through as many things Mavis has. Including wars. But she's still kept her cheerful and cunning personality. And she still believes in fairies, though maybe in a different way now.]

Your guild better have appreciated having such an adorable leader.

I don't know what to expect anymore, "guild master..." I don't remember anything after the guild's founding, yet, you know.

[fairysoul]

I'm still their First Master but I'm not their leader anymore. Here it's a young woman named Erza. I'm sure you've met her already. She's pretty cute too. [In a different and curvier way.] But don't tell her I said that.

Well to be honest, I've always wondered what you'd have said about me doing that. If you'd have congratulated me or... just called me crazy. [But whatever the case, Mavis knows creating Fairy Tail is one of the best things she achieved in her life.]

...You don't have a crush, do you?

Well, it was pretty crazy. It's just like you, making something like a guild after all the horrible stuff ours did...
