Well, to be fair, that would still be an interesting deviation in usual pokémon behaviour. So you just acquired these planks with words already written on them? Conveying exactly what you're thinking at the moment?

In all fairness, discovery is not without its hazards. Or surprise complications. Yet we shall be the ones taking any and all significant risks, so it does seem rather foolish for them to hesitate.

Certainly not, but what is a little collateral loss and personal risk in the face of seeing something new or unseen for centuries? I live for it!

I suppose they feel some responsibility, however, for our actions. And worry that the first steps will be wrong ones? Nothing that can't be fixed, though!
