voicetest for tabletop character, what have I created
You wanna voice-test me before the game, huh? HAHA! Fine with me! From what you've told me the whole thing sounds like a real kick, so I'm as excited to get out there as you are. Gate-crashing? I've always wanted to do that kind of thing! And they'll pay us. I assume we're getting paid together, that's how they keep you in LINE!
Tell you what, happy you went with me and not the other guy. Because mostly-crazy psychosurgeon does not a reliable companion make! And if anybody calls for me I'll be there straight away, yes I will! Unless it'll get me killed. My loyalty only goes so far, you know.

Well, I've been squawking for awhile, you don't to seem to have anything to say and you're getting that glazed-over look people get sometimes, so I'll just take my leave now... Hey, wait.
Do you have any food? Because I'll take that, and that, and ah yes, that...

odin has a soft-spot for ravens. a fondness, even. he often prefers their company to people.
his voice is a rumble, but at the moment it is more of a fatherly burr than the thunderous bellow it can be. ] Mmm, what's this about loyalties?

'S important to look after everybody you can, you know? Just the decent thing to do. But you can't live your life throwing away your all for other people, either. I'll help these guys, But I'm not getting myself killed-- too much to see and do in the world for that.
Hey, these are pretty good, actually!

[He observes the raven, deciding to as a bold question. He's curious if the creature will be truthful.]
You know, I have seen quite a few people cursed to live as a beast of some form, but none born beast with the gift of speech. Telepathy, yes, but speech?
You're very special, aren't you?

I'm uh... an experiment. I got modified vocal chords, among other things. Turns out a translation device for uplifted animals isn't worth it when you're already messing with their genes. So most of my kind can talk.
So not that special. Or maybe special, but not unique.
Tabletops rule. Let's be real.
You! Hello! Games are good. Is how we find each other.
YOOOO BIRD PARTY!!! and yes they dooo
[this guy is probably a very genetically engineered corvid. or a corvid uplift piloting something else. or a really, really eccentric person who is not a corvid but is wearing the body. hopefully one of the first two.]
What's your name? How's life? Are you part of a flock or something? Where's my manners? I'm Julian, nice to meet you!
/highfive
[He says that, but the fact that he looks like he just won the lottery was probably a dead giveaway.]
I am Vilhelm Othervrother. Is a flock like a guild? Are there others here? Do you have a collection?
[And this is probably why bird folks shouldn't get together. Lots of questions and cawing and feathers everywhere.]

[he hops in a small circle around Vilhelm, looking him over closer. how alike are they, exactly? or rather, what experimental modifications was the other guy unfortunate enough to end up with?]
Um, I think so. For loose definition of 'guild', anyway, 'cause those aren't really a thing I've ever seen and I'm not sure they actually exist, but they're in books and stuff, so...
Nah, I haven't got one but... people like us tend to come together? I think? Much as I don't want to admit it, I think it's probably the crow thing. But there aren't a lot where I am. And by 'not a lot', I mean 'none'. So this is pretty exciting for me, too!
