I must say, I'm not terribly fond of you right now, my dear.

"Why?" Well, for the simple fact that you've neglected me for the last several months, a year even, in favor for some young bushy-tailed youth. Now, I certainly understand your reasoning for abandoning me but I'm not particularly in the mood to forgive you just yet.

I will state that I'm at least grateful that you've begun to work on our strained relationship before the damage became irreversible. Still, I know better than to eagerly give you any praise just yet. After all, you are a serial procrastinator when it comes down to it.

Therefore, you'll have to earn my respect again before I ever view you fondly again.

Are we done here? I do believe this conversation has run it's course. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some "odds and ends" to complete.

Isn't that exactly like a mundane? They have no appreciation for real brilliance - mediocrity knows nothing higher than itself, after all. Everything would be much easier if we weren't saddled with their ineptitude.
