[ He turns to a nearby character. ] Hey! I need help! This player needs cheering up!

[Sapphire chuckles as she sits down beside Steven.]

I think you have more patience than you realize.

[She says with a light smile.]

Maybe it would help if we found a way to pass the time. How about a song?

[funkyflow]

[ He brightens and nods, taking out his ukelele. ] Well, okay! Do you know any? From your world?

[guidingvoice]

[A gentle look crosses her at the question. The only songs she can think of offhand are the ones she's heard him sing. Even if she wanted to recall ones from the Homeworld, they don't mean nearly as much to her (or Ruby) as the ones Steven has come up with.

Besides, as far as she's concerned, Earth is her world.]

Hmmm, I think I know one.

[ He grins with pure joy, understanding what singing this song means about her choice of world. He begins to strum along, joining her in the second part of the verse: ]

[His joy causes her to brighten as she claps in time with the music. If she's honest, the memory of this song has given her a vast amount of peace over the years. Though she's part of arguably one of the strongest Gems on Earth, even she finds a great deal of strength in the purity and optimism of this song.

That it was a gift from Steven only makes her adore it that much more.]

[ He throws his hands in the air, briefly taking a pause from strumming. ]

Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl, and Steven!

[ He laughs, leaning against a wall and grinning at Sapphire. Whether or not it made the player feel better, it certainly cheered Steven up a lot. ]

[She can't help but laugh too. It's the first time since she's been without Ruby that she's been able to laugh sincerely, so it's definitely cheered her up quite a bit too!]

Of all the songs I know, I think that one is my favorite.
