So what makes you so fearful it's worth making note of it?

I attract bad luck—people are bound to have terrible things happen to them when they're near me. It's happened numerous times, so I doubt it's a coincidence.

Giving those who find amusement in controlling us permission to "do whatever they want" with us is a dangerous proposition.

It's true that I'm taking a risk by allowing my player to do what she wants with me. However, it's possible I may be in for worse ordeals should I rebel. From what little I've seen, our controllers seem to especially enjoy placing us in scenarios we'd rather not take part in.

I am fully aware of this. My own mundane has placed me in several... awkward situations. { To say the least. } You are from Sabertooth, correct? I watched the Grand Magic Games.

I see. I hope I'll never have to deal with unpleasant situations, though it seems that it'll be unavoidable.

...You did, huh? [She looks down.] I was too cocky back then. I'm really fortunate that Sting-sama—and everyone else—gave me a second chance. [Granted, the guild's no longer all about being the strongest around.]

They accepted the one you call 'Minerva' back, and she can't even be considered human anymore.

You should be careful where they send you. Some places are more challenging than others.

[She nods.] I've heard there are games where I can't use my magic or take along any of my belongings aside from what I'm wearing. Those sorts of places don't sound pleasant at all.

...No. Feeling weak in the face of danger, your magic gone is harder than I would have thought, when I was in Edolas.

But perhaps learning to draw strength without magic is necessary to grow stronger, in these worlds.

That's true. [She thinks for a moment.] Perhaps it might be worth going someplace where you're at a disadvantage, then. It may be difficult to adapt, but the things one might learn would benefit them greatly. I could especially use the experience, given how I cannot fight without my spirits.

Magic is a part of us too, though. I've only visited places where my magic could be retrieved....

[Shakes her head.] I'm a member of Sabertooth, the strongest—no, previously strongest guild in Fiore. We were defeated by Fairy Tail.

...Is there something wrong with there being many Fairy Tail members where you are? [She knows they can be destruction happy, but they are a friendly bunch.]

I don't understand how Mavis could have created a rude guild like that...

Honestly, I should have known better than to trust Yuri with her! He must have done weird things with her, after I left.

[Though a number of traits come to mind when she thinks of Fairy Tail's members—or at least the ones she had gotten to know—"rude" isn't one of them.]

Mind if I ask how they're rude? The ones I've met are very kind, even to strangers and former enemies. [Pauses.] Is Mavis-sama different from them?

Don't give them too much reign, Yukino. There are a lot of unpleasant places out there.

If I fight against her, I have a higher chance of being sent to one of those places. ...Though, I suppose I'll always be at risk regardless.

[She sighs.] Fortunately, the places she has been looking at don't appear too unpleasant.

...Maybe. [He can't exactly deny that statement, but...] Just going along with whatever she's saying isn't an answer either though.

[They've already been there, after all. Or well, close enough. Not that he thinks that her mun is anything like Jienma... Anyway.]

Oh? Does she already have something concrete in mind for you?

That's true. [Her player is far more kind than Jiemma, fortunately.] I believe she has listened to her muses before, though they were ones she was already familiar with. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to make some requests.

[She shakes her head.] Nothing's set in stone yet. She claims she's keeping her options open in case she finds something "better" for me. [That could be either good or bad. Hopefully good.]

[Good. Not that Rogue thinks that Yukino couldn't handle herself, if she was, but he is not going to leave her exposed to that kind of malice ever again if he can help it. It's bad enough that he didn't step up for her the first time around, even though he had known that Jiemma's treatment of her was wrong.

He frowns faintly – his own experience with those 'games' is limited and the things he's heard in his mun's headspace are... varied.]

[Yukino definitely deserves that much, if she's already being taken away from their guild (family).]
