On her former game's endgame event and its IC implications: Lia's got a few words.
That's not— [Celia pauses to take in a breath.]
Sora mea, that's just not right. Nothing about that is right!
Findin' out that all the things that happened, all the people you'd met, everything, was basically jus' some massively elaborate lie? That you're all gonna be sent back with nothin' to show for what you'd gone through while you were there, that the lives y'mighta been building for yourselves never actually happened? [Lucina's situation comes to mind, and quickly, and that pisses the girl off more than her own situation would have had she still been there.]
What kinda sick joke is that, anyway? I mean— It's just— Ugh. Jus' because life in the Havens wasn't perfect doesn't mean it should never have happened at all!

...Rest assured I am doing what I can to stop them from doing this. It seems I will be speaking for you as well.

[He's incredibly mad. Frustrated. And losing Celia hurt him more than he cared to admit, and to hear he'd lose everything he had experienced in the Havens felt like an insult.]
...I don't know what to do. I don't know how to get them to change their minds.

Don't they realize that sendin' people back home is a death sentence for some o' them, Manny?
[Serah. Wing. Lucina's unborn child. Celia herself would have been in that same position.]

[It was harsh, coldly stated. Coming from Manfred, such an icy tone very clearly illustrated just how angry he was.]
Or that weighed against the greater balance a few lives don't matter. If that's the kind of line divinity subscribes to, I want no part of it.
[He realizes he's being a hypocrite in some ways. He's killed. Ended plenty of lives in his time as a mercenary and in fighting in wars. But there's a difference in taking life in war and combat.... and taking away someone's second chance. ...Or in the case of Lucina and Hope's unborn child, completely erasing them from existence in the first place.]
