BUT GRANDMADRAGON
Dear child, you didn't have to wake me up for fun. Allow an old woman some rest, will you? I'm sure the various children you play with can work to stave off boredom for a few more hours, and if not well...
There's always your crocheting!
There's always your crocheting!

It's Grandmadragon!
It was some time ago we had a most interesting meeting. It is funny, we read it yesterday and had many smiles.
We are both glad to see you.
GRANDMADRAGON
[Not hard to see how she could call him little now]
How have you been, dear? Not playing in any more snow storms, I hope.
Re: GRANDMADRAGON
I have been well. I am in good health, even if my village will not let me back. I still go out in the snow, but I am perhaps more careful. I do not try to visit new places when a storm is moving in.
Perhaps I can bring some fish to thank you for your kindness. I was most surprised by your little ones, but they seemed nice. I would like to return favor to ones who are nice to me.

[Please don't die in the snow]
The hatchlings love visitors. You're lucky none of them were teething at the moment, or else you'd have no shoes to leave with.
Oh dear, you don't have to repay us.
[Besides, she had a lot of kids in there, and there was no way one little human could bring in enough fish]
Maybe you could just write letters. We have an address in the upper house.

I would love to write. I will do so. And if the little ones like a visit I am most glad to come back. I am little, but I am strong. I can take more than most.
[Okay, dragons are very different from (smaller) radioactive monsters, but he is an enhanced soldier and can take a beating if they young ones are rough.]
