[ He did have a point that they did their best to be kind, and Hikari had been such a good example of patience and forgiveness... She pouts. ]

The difference between you and Ken is that he's sorry for the things you made him do. He's got remorse, and he's made amends fixing everything you broke.

[ He sighs and steps back, in case she ends up smacking him, which is possible if he doesn't change his tune and the disapproving look on his Mun's face tells him that he needs to start being nice. Or else. ]

I will admit, that I was an idiot and what I did was very terrible and very wrong and I would really like to make amends for the trouble I caused.

If I continue on the path of keeping my nose clean, would you be able to forgive me?

[He's not exactly sure why she wants her forgiveness so badly, the thought is strange to him.]

[ His apology gives her pause. She looks immediately a lot less angry, and more of a cautiously curious. She never would have expected this behavior from him. Ken, absolutely, but him? She's not sure how to take this. Is he being sincere? How could she tell if she didn't give him a chance? What would Hikari do? What would Ken do? ]

I... I don't know. I think... everyone can be redeemed if they want to be. But... that's the thing. You have to want to.

[ The gesture genuinely shocks her, and she stares at him, fully aware how how silly she must look, especially with her face growing red again. She offers a smile and takes the flower. It would seem her initial crush on him wasn't completely unwarranted. ]
