I've never joined a bandwagon before. Fun for all.
Great. I thought being fused with that idiot was the stupidest prison possible, but once again I'm proven wrong when someone dumber comes along.
[Growling, grumbling, a waved hand like 'what are you even doing.']
Listen up! If I'm stuck in this forsaken wasteland you humans call a brain, you're going to get me to those traitors. I'm going to tear them apart! And then tear those two apart again! They got lucky last time, they're no match for me in a fair fight!
[Endless excuses, Jasper.]
Grrg- When I find a decent partner to fuse with, they're all dead.

[Pearl is not very good at trash-talking.]

[She started that sentence relatively calm for Jasper, so a thick growling irritated but by the end she's tensed up with raised fists and teeth clenched. The last word is just bellowed-]
Morons!
no subject
Yes, I'm extremely intimidated. Why, I might have to watch you be defeated by better gems than you all over again!
no subject
You'll have to watch, you reject. You couldn't beat me yourself. None of you could take me on alone!
no subject
I'm a Crystal Gem. We never have to be alone.
no subject
Whichever one of you I crush last will.
[Never give Jasper an inch, Pearl, because she'll drag a mile out of you- as shown by the way she stomps a bit closer to make up for that scooting, bringing them a bit closer than they started.]

Don't underestimate me so easily. I've taken down a three-gem fusion.
[One who was her friend, if in the midst of a nasty temper tantrum, and probably wouldn't have hurt her seriously, and who was already unstable, but it's technically true. Thanks, Sugilite.]

What an obvious bluff. You? I'm surprised you can stand on your own without Rose Quartz to hold you up.

No, you won't. Even if you do find someone you can bully into fusing with, you will not lay a finger on Garnet, or the others. Because to do so, you'll have to go through me.
all my joy
I've never heard better terms!
[She's already off, helmet on and spin dashing for a charge.
Jasper, you are an idiot that is about to get beaten like a bongo drum.]
I aim to please~
And while we're at it, I'd thank you to not speak of my family in that manner.
[And the gems are her family. And nobody messes with Rose's family and gets away with it.]
no subject
That garbage!? They're a joke! [She's being fairly wary now, for Jasper at least, starting a slow circling walk.] I knew you were still around. They couldn't last this long without you.

If they were such trash, then why did our rebellion succeed? A handful of rejects and 'lower' gems should have been easy prey for Homeworld's armadas and armies.
[She flourishes he blade before leveling its point at Jasper.]
It's because they have in spades what the rest of our kind seems to have forgotten; love. Their love for each other, the world we defend and the people in it. That is what makes us strong. As for me...
[She just grins and shakes her head.]
I'm long gone. I sacrificed my physical form to bring my son into the world. What you saw on Earth was the might of four Crystal Gems who have come into their own, who love each other, and would do anything to protect the ones they love. I had no hand in your defeat. But if the universe sees fit to allow me this chance, I will gladly take it.
[...Yeah, thousands of years hasn't really dulled Rose's flair for dramatic inspiring speeches.
Maybe. If only we had concrete details...]no subject
You got this, Big R!

Still, revealing that Rose is actually gone and this whole thing is just meaningless in the grand scheme of things cuts some of the steam... for a minute.]
Why? What's the point? A hundred of that little... creature wouldn't be worth half of you! You crippled your own army, gave them a liability in the process!
[It's so confusing she can't even be mad. Or rather, it's so confusing the anger is kind of taking the long route to get to the front of Jasper's brain.]
no subject
Have you forgotten what he did? A gem who is completely untrained in war, who has barely come to grips with his powers stopped a blast from a gem warship more advanced than anything that's been to Earth, and thwarted your security systems by simply walking through the energy fields, setting the others free in the process.
Even you would be hard pressed to call that a liability. I have no doubt that as he matures, and trains with his powers, he'll be three times the gem I ever was.

[All this is said with graphic hand motions crushing an imaginary Steven, with a vicious grin at the mere thought of terribly injuring a small child.
She's mostly doing it in hopes of getting a rise out of Rose, but not entirely sad to say.]

Anyways don't talk to me about duty, you just wanted to fight Rose! It's lucky for you you didn't, she woulda kicked your butt.
