[This is fantastically untrue, since he's pretty damn good at not crying. In an attempt to belay even happy tears, he casually swaps from the shoulder touches to picking Lily up into a bridal carry.]

[She lets out a happy sound of surprise, but is quick to recover and smile up at him as her arms wrap around his neck.]

[He her a little higher so he can nuzzle up against her face shamelessly, even throwing in a cheek kiss for good measure.]

[She blushes at the kiss, but doesn't mind this at all as she chuckles.]

[Which is his cue to start liberally applying those kisses, peppering her cheeks and neck with them.

Feda's not exactly the sort of guy that says how he's feeling. He shows it and usually in fairly simple ways filtered through limited social experience. Getting fresh is the best way his shallow mind lets him express that he missed her too.
