[Cass grins when she hears that familiar voice, taking a couple steps towards him.]
Hiro! How many of you are there around here? I can barely keep track of one of you, now there's like, a bizallion of you! Don't get me wrong, it's great, but I'm starting to feel pretty outnumbered... [But her smile begins to fade when she realizes just what, exactly, is off. This isn't the Hiro she remembers. He's a little older, a little taller... and that look in his eyes. So haunted. She stops in front of him, so surprised she doesn't hug him yet as she had intended to.]
[There may have been tears and excessive hugging, but shhhhh.]
[At least he'll hug her back instead of freezing up. He's pretty sure it's an emotional roller coaster for her too.] I'm fine. It's-I don't-it's just so-but in a good way?
A lot - a lot happened. And it's been a while since I've seen you, and I don't mean just here. But it's good. Um. So... yeah. ['So yeah' is not a sentence or an explanation, it's not even a sentence, and he doesn't move towards her or reach out to hug her. He looks off to the side.]
[Her worry is etched all over her expression. This is her baby, her youngest nephew, and it looks like a lot had happened to him. Slowly, she approaches him, because the Hiro she remembers would allow a hug - grudgingly, but still.]
Are you okay? Please tell me you're okay. Maybe... maybe I can help you, sweetheart.
[Cass is definitely glad for that. Because she really doesn't want to let go of her nephew, now that she's somehow got him back with her. But the hug can only last so long, and she's beaming up at him.]
Me? Oh, you know me - keeping busy at the cafe, or feeding Hiro and those hungry friends of his - yours too, I of course. And Baymax - Tadashi, Baymax is wonderful! Oh, sweetie, I am so proud of you for creating that thing! [And here, she's just going to hug him again, because just so proud!]
Oh, pssh! Don't be silly. [She waved away this strange-looking man's concerns.] She's not like that. We have got it goin' on, if you know what I'm saying. We're tight, we're hip, yo!
[Cass is just never gonna let you go now, so get used to it.]

[She sighs, then finally lets go, pulling back so she can look down at him.] How are you? You look great. Are they feeding you around here? I bet they don't make your favorite wings like your favorite aunt does, huh?
I'm okay. Or I will be. I mean, I'm not in danger or anything. But I screwed up, Aunt Cass. I really, really screwed up. [He takes a half step back from her, but his eyes are sad, not in any way fearful.] I don't think this is something that can be fixed. But I'm so, so glad you're okay. Like I said, it's been a while.
No one can make wings like you. And I'm getting plenty of food, there's actually a lot of nurturing types I'm sharing space with.
Hitting up memes, talking to people. Talking with....with Tadashi. [Which is so wonderful that it's painful.] I've been doing pretty good. [He just won't mention....future plans for games.]
Now don't get me wrong. Me and my mun, I like to think we're brothers from another mother --Not literally, of course. He's quite a bit younger-- But my point is, you two may be BFFs, but that's not going to stop her from wanting to see how you'll react in a bad situation, fo' rizzle.
[The mad sceintist folded his arms across his chest, giving her his best 'I'm cool and confident, and I know what I'm talking about' look.]
It's just how these muns are. You feeling me, girlfriend?
[She can't help but smirk at this strange little man, because well - he is kinda funny. And Cass gives everyone a chance - she isn't the judge-y type or anything.]
I like to think our muns care about our well-beings. I don't think they'd want to see us get hurt. I know a thing or two about taking care of someone - and let me tell you, that someone is always getting into trouble - so I think she's in the same position.
[And she's relieved to hear his mun doesn't sound like the crazy types that send people into torture games, so probably best not to tell her about any future plans.]
Oh, it's just so good to see you. Last hug! [And she gives him another tight squeeze. It's really gonna be hard to let this one go on his merry way.]
[Oh, she just wants to hug him until all the pain somehow goes away. Cass can't stand seeing her nephew like this. It's almost like Tadashi's death all over again - she had to watch Hiro go through that terrible, terrible loss, unable to really help him. She had tried, of course, but nothing had really worked.]
Oh, Hiro... please don't shut me out. I'm here for you, okay? I don't care what you've done, or what you've been through. I'm still your aunt and I love you so much.
Aunt Cass, I love you too. And I know you love me. But I - I - [Breathe. In, out. Soon enough this will be over and he can slip back into his new identity and away from the people he just keeps hurting. This will hurt her too, but it'll keep her away from him, so none of his stupidity ends up resulting in her getting tangled up in the superhero world. He can't let her die.
The words are still forced out through a barely repressed sob:] I killed someone. I killed the man who killed Tadashi, because I wasn't thinking right. I'm not safe to be around. I'm not - I'm not who I used to be.
[ Tadashi laughs, that humble one he adopts when Aunt Cass lavishes him with too much praise. He knows it's because she really is proud of them, but it's still kind of embarrassing, even at twenty-something. He returns the hug, squeezing her this time for good measure. ]
I worked really hard on him. I'm glad Hiro got around to showing him to you.
[He groans a little, shaking his head in frustration.]
I'm just saying, tell that to those who have their muns throw them into games where they're tortured and experimented on, or have to make a new life in some post-apocalyptic wasteland.
It might not even be that. Like I said, my mun likes me just fine, but that doesn't stop him from wanting to watch me squirm more often than I'd like.
