[two gears suddenly appear over Allen's left eye with a noise not unlike a laser firing up. a smaller one spins about the large one; the "monocle glass" of the latter is blood red. the white of his eye is black, his iris red. there is some serious juju goin' on here.

he tenses up, then relaxes slightly a moment later]

[Allen looks up, above Lewis' head. floating above Lewis, as if tethered to his form, he can see the true spirit of Lewis, normal looking and all.

he smiles warmly and extends his right hand to shake]

I'm Allen Walker. And I don't only see a pink skeleton with fangs. I see you.

[He hesitates, and then takes the offered hand. He's very, very solid, and naturally freezing cold to the touch]

No, I'm afraid not. [his smile is thin and doesn't reach his eyes, like he's seem some shit. He's never met a ghost he could touch, though.

Allen drops the smile and points to his left eye] My cursed eye allows me to see the souls of the dead in their true form. It could let others see it too, briefly.
