You know, mun, I think I can actually appreciate you taking me out again. Especially since this isn't the weirdest thing that's happened to me lately.

...although I think I'll have to draw the line when it comes to defending Pokemon. They're great, really! But If we do much more of this we might as well rename ourselves the Wright "Will Defend Anything With A Face" Agency.

(Although I'm sure Trucy and Athena would get a kick out of that.)

Well, I don't really know what I'm expecting, but ... I think I could use a vacation. What do you say?

Heh. You miss my point, Wright — namely, that defending Pokemon would not be a new low for you, and might even constitute an improvement from defending an orca depending on the portrayal of Pokemon in Route 29.

Are you implying that orcas aren't just as caring, intelligent, and worthy of legal counsel as any old Pokemon? That's kind of rude. I know it says "killer" in the name and all, but...

Caring, perhaps. Intelligence, however, is a matter that's open for debate. Of course, knowing little of how Pokemon are portrayed in Route 29 myself, I cannot argue the specifics of your theoretical future predicament.

Incidentally, Wright, you need not pretend that the fourth wall is in place here. There are other places to voice test where it is intact, however.

From when I was there before, I can say with confidence that the Pokemon are VERY intelligent. More intelligent than some people, probably, although compared to some I could mention, that bar isn't very high.

dear_mun before. Anyway, if Pokemon are in fact portrayed as entirely sapient and capable of communication in Route 29, then I fail to see why you of all people would object to defending one.

As for suggestions for additional places to voice test, unfortunately

bakerstreet has developed a distinct bias in favor of romantic and carnal pursuits, though more neutral memes do still exist. Fortunately, a new community specifically for those of us from the Ace Attorney series has recently been founded. While

aceattorneyrp is focused primarily on "matchmaking" players, it does allow in-character posts as well, and the administrator plans to post an in-character "mingle" this weekend. Of course, there are always museboxes as well; I myself have an open post here, though apparently the latest thread in that post requires warnings for its extreme emotional content.

I seem to remember at least one time, although I'm sure there's probably more. My mun kind of got around.

I think my mun wants to make sure they can get settled in at one game before trying out any other museboxes or the like, first. But when they're ready, they'll give that latter one a look for sure.

Then we do, in fact, both remember the same incident. However, I don't recall you and I in particular crossing paths again until just now. Whether I happened to encounter anyone else under your mundane's custody in the interim, however, I couldn't say.

It's...well, from my understanding, Pokemon exist in a world where there are multiple regions and cities that you can visit. The region I was sent to is called Johto, but I haven't been to any of the others. I guess there's a lot? I wouldn't know. About four years have passed in the Pokemon world since I was last there, so there's a lot of things I'm pretty behind on.

That would explain it.

If I recall correctly, the lot of us in our game were transported there for a day or so, resulting in each one if us obtaining our own Pokemon creature. I returned with a charming companion of my own who I'd definitely venture to say was far brighter than many humans. Hell of a good guard dog, too.

Larry? From what point in time did he arrive? Do not get me wrong, Wright, it is not my intention to cast any sort of blame upon you. I'm simply...intrigued, to say the least.

Um...let me see if I can remember. I think he arrived from some time after the incident at Hazakura temple. To put that in perspective, at the time, I had only just solved the DL-6 case a few months before arriving.

By 'home,' you are referring to LA, I presume? Had you any recollection of your time here when you returned?

I didn't remember a thing. But the second I got sent back to Johto, I remembered everything about it again, and that it took place many years ago.
