You know, mun, I think I can actually appreciate you taking me out again. Especially since this isn't the weirdest thing that's happened to me lately.
...although I think I'll have to draw the line when it comes to defending Pokemon. They're great, really! But If we do much more of this we might as well rename ourselves the Wright "Will Defend Anything With A Face" Agency.
(Although I'm sure Trucy and Athena would get a kick out of that.)
Well, I don't really know what I'm expecting, but ... I think I could use a vacation. What do you say?

Hey, maybe if we finally shaped up, one of us could get paid! Then you wouldn't have to keep footing the bill for me at all our celebratory dinners, Edgeworth.

you have an icon from my four year old lj icon comm i'm crying
Thank you for that effort, BTW. :)
Incidentally, Wright, you need not pretend that the fourth wall is in place here. There are other places to voice test where it is intact, however.

Hey, give my mun a break. They're still getting back into the swing of things, okay? Let them pretend there's a fourth wall of that helps them feel better.
Although...I'm sure they wouldn't mind any suggestions?
no subject
As for suggestions for additional places to voice test, unfortunately

I seem to remember at least one time, although I'm sure there's probably more. My mun kind of got around.
I think my mun wants to make sure they can get settled in at one game before trying out any other museboxes or the like, first. But when they're ready, they'll give that latter one a look for sure.

Somehow, I'm not surprised.

It is good to be back. Assuming I get in, at least.
no subject
Eh, I'm not worried about that. You got in the first time, didn'tcha?
no subject
Sure, but times change! Maybe they don't let in old, wizened defense attorneys like me anymore.
no subject
[It has changed a lot, though. Fewer familiar faces around nowadays.]
Oh, shut up. You're not old.
... OldER, but hey, so is everybody else there.
Late, but hopefully worth it!
[Sorry to bombard you with Edgeworths. Here's to hoping you're still around, because...mother of goodness, I can't help it. Phoenix is a gem!]
COME INTO MY ARMS
[IT IS ALWAYS AN ACCEPTABLE TIME FOR EDGEWORTHS.]
U COME HERE MY ARMS WERE OPEN FIRST
Though, I must say, due the all-encompassing nature of the very name of your company, I'd venture to say that your willingness to defend "anything with a face," is implied therein.
ONLY BC I WANT TO AND NOT BC U TOLD ME TO.......
To be fair, "Anything" sounds better than "Law and Sometimes Other Things, Who Cares, Please Pay Us".
1/2
Indeed, it does. Though, I must say, I'm sure there are alternative ways to convey that. Otherwise, it is more like the "Wright Almost Anything Agency."
2/2
[Edgeworth is almost certain he understands what he meant by that, but if that is the case, it presents quite the slew of uncertainties...]
no subject
[Phoenix shrugs.] "There" as in Johto. This isn't the first time I've been there.

If I recall correctly, the lot of us in our game were transported there for a day or so, resulting in each one if us obtaining our own Pokemon creature. I returned with a charming companion of my own who I'd definitely venture to say was far brighter than many humans. Hell of a good guard dog, too.

[Phoenix, no. Go to your room.]
no subject
Oh? There was an alternate version of me, as well?
no subject
He was, like, ten. It was pretty cute.
[And, at the time, incredibly awkward.]
FOR LACK OF A BETTER ICON
u were a wonderful child
I'd almost forgotten that you were practically as pompous in fourth grade as you are now.
he'll ignore that because he knows it's true

[Pause.]
Needless to say, uh...things were a little awkward at first.

...also, Larry was there.
But von Karma wasn't.
[Short WIFI break!]

[Larry had a few years on him. This was fixed later, buuuut...]

As of right now? 34. [HE'S GETTING GRAY HAIRS, MILES.]

[His real expression is not quite so...dramatic as the icon, however.]

[That raises a fair number of questions.]
By 'home,' you are referring to LA, I presume? Had you any recollection of your time here when you returned?
YES HELLO I'M HERE SORRY ABOUT THAT
I didn't remember a thing. But the second I got sent back to Johto, I remembered everything about it again, and that it took place many years ago.
