Oh dearest Mundane, does this mean I'll get to be out and about more?

Not that I'm complaining about being let loose around Halloween, or at times Christmas, but there is much to see other than those two wonderous times of the year. So many people to meet, get a few scares--

Oh, sure you've allowed me the company of countless spirited and ghostly hosts, but even I need to stretch my legs from time to time! So many new faces, and faceless faces, to see and meet. So much to do, that it's simply making me more restless than normal to only have those mansion halls to roam.

So what do you say? As nice as the cobwebs are, a little fresh air to fill with a few wonderous screams does a skeleton good. Even more so if said skeleton, a rather dapper skeleton as it has been put by some, is the Pumpkin King.

Dead or not, there's still fun in it.

How very kind, very kind indeed!

Normally I would say planning for next Halloween, but it does appear I've not all that is needed for that this far away from home. Not many are as fond of scares either.

Which is quite a pity, a bit of a fright is good for you after all. Makes you feel alive, a little thrill here and there you know! Get the blood pumping, all of those things said by those who have blood anyway.

[Someone is getting off subject, aren't they.]

Well, I can't say I'm too fond of being scared myself, but you're so clever, Jack, I'm sure you could find something else to do.

But Jack, will Halloweentown be alright without you there?

It's not for everyone, I will admit, as most scares they know are quite unkind. Mine are all in fun and spirit of the day.

Well, I've been assured so by this Mundane of mine. Of course I'll also admit that I miss it so, and can't help but worry about the Mayor. He does get into quite a panic without me, and Sally... [It's been a while since he'd seen her.

Snapping right back to a skeletal grin.] They'll be fine.

Perhaps you'll see Sally here. I know that every once and a while our loved ones and friends pop up.

Or maybe you can find a place where she already is, though I couldn't tell you where might that be. I'm afraid I've never found my prince or my dwarfs!

I can't say I've run across them either, I've mostly met with other ghosts and ghouls when I've been allowed out. A rather charming old man as well one Christmas--

Another Jack as well, the pirating fellow. Tad stand-offish, but I do believe that might have had something to do with a more nautical story of an undead nature than anything else, supersitious lot for reason.

I do wish you luck to find yours one day, Snow White! Perhaps I shall one day cross paths with my dear Sally as well, there is a lot out there in a small world sort of way.

Well, I've only seen Sally once, I'm afraid, but oh... that was such a long time ago. Really, I mostly just see Anna and Elsa running about, oh and Mickey, of course.

But yes, you mustn't give up hope, Jack. Someday you and Sally will meet again. I'm sure she'll be so happy to see you!

I've yet to meet Elsa, but I know I've seen her around one place I've been. Sometimes I do wonder if we're falling behind in the times the more that join our number-

Or perhaps few wish to subject us to such things as what's gotten popular these days. [That's a nice way of talking about a lot of things that could break any Disney character, etc.] Such a strange thing, really.

As I'll be happy to see her, it's simply not the same without her around. Not a bit.

Oh she's very nice, and you would love her ice powers, Jack. Perhaps the two of you can make Halloween snowflakes! Wouldn't that be just the cutest? [Snow, Halloween is not about "cute."]

Oh, nonsense! I'm sure they're just a bit shy! It can be a bit hard to talk to someone you don't know the first time. [The point, she missed it.]

Halloween snowflakes? My, that would indeed be something to explore. Snow is rather fun after all, and ice powers. Perhaps a few frightfully delightful ice sculptures if she were willing to further test those skills. [He remembers the snowflakes he tried to cut out of paper once. Yep.]

Indeed, indeed. I met a shy one recently, or as recently as I can remember, and I'd met a friend of his before then. Quite the interesting bunch. [What was the point again?]

Well, so long as you ask nicely, I don't think she'll mind? But it's very important to ask, but you're so polite, I'm not worried about that!

Oh? Who was it? Was it Baymax and those new friends? They do seem a bit worried and always so stressed! Maybe they should take a holiday. I'm sure you could give them wonderful recommendations.

She's a tad shy, it would be very terrible to not ask first after meeting her. Wouldn't surprise me if she were a tad wary at first, some who've yet to meet me can be after all.

Baymax, Baymax... Name doesn't ring a bell, but I would guess that he would be the round white fellow? Nearly as round as Oogiee-Boogie, but far friendlier and whiter. [He's been around the block.] No, they weren't from our part.

A skeletal ghost by the name of Lewis is who I'm talking about, and his living friend Arthur. He's rather new to being amongst the dead, Lewis, gave him a few pointers and the like. His friend is quite jumpy.

Far too much to do to slow down! [Clapping those boney hands, laughing as he bent those long thing leg at the knees to simply rest at a comfortable crouch.

Far better than looming during a pelasent conversation, right?]

Sally! [Oh dear, hopefully the dear ragdool was ready for the sudden skeleton all but swooping in close.] It's good to see you as well, it feels like ages since I last saw you.

Or at least something close to that.

Radiation has nothing to do with it, but you may continue assuming things as you wish if that's how you go about a first meeting. Terribly rude of you, fellow.

Most people from my town has been exposed to some kind of radiation. [Shrugs] You're clearly not human.

More like you're new to an entirely new plane of existance, to get rather technical. Now, this is something even I'm growing to understand, or perhaps it's easier for me since I've recently discovered doors to other Towns.

It is quite the experience! For the longest time I only thought the Living World and my own dear Halloween Town existed, untill I stumbled upon a number of doors deep within the forest well beyond the graveyard.

Literally stumbled and fell right into another holiday Town! Oh, and I was so very full of curiousity and questions, but it was very clearly not affected by my wonderful town and something all of its own, also connected to what me and my fellows know as the Living World.

Different realms and planes of existence? I've heard about scientists theorizing about such things. Most of it was lost during the Fall. Now it's only survival that matters. I know of holidays but I've never heard of Halloween.

Yes, yes! Isn't it thrilling? I'm so very used to traveling between my own Town and the Living World, but stumbling upon another Holiday Town was just so wonderous!

Santa Claus is such a nice fellow, he even over-looked my over excitement in discovering Christmas that he made it snow in my lovely town as he passed by. [At the mention of never hearing of--]

Now that's just positively dreadful, it's such a wonderous holiday with much simpler beginnings. Have you ever heard of All Hallow's Eve, perhaps? Or even Samhain; Halloween is simply the name it's evolved into, along with the changing of traditions so it's more about costumes and receiving candy these days.

All snow I can ask for back home is that of a nuclear winter. Which isn't healthy.

I'm familiar with All Hallow's Eve. That's the day we remember our dead. I'm afraid that say lost the meaning you speak of after candy became rare and we started to need all fabric to clothes. Hell, even fresh water is rare these days.
