It's unfortunate, but it seems our operators wouldn't be with us if we went somewhere. [ He is slightly brooding about this, but it's hard to tell with him being relatively expressionless. ] That's the price of going somewhere new, it seems...

[Expressionless as he may be, Coloredman's been around Magicman long enough to catch some of his more subtle nuances.]

Awww, you sound like you're gonna be lonely without Maha! But I heard Rockman's gonna be at the place you might be going, so at least you won't be all, all alone~!

[He sounds mocking, but that's just his way of reassuring Magicman.]

Maybe, but maybe going out would still be more interesting. I dunno! Madoi's not here right now anyway, so I might as well go somewhere!

[ He kind of sputters a little. His teammates are the only ones capable of pulling emotional reactions from him in this way, really. ]

O-of course it's going to feel odd! [ That wasn't what he said but what is emotional vulnerability ] We've been together for a long time. It'd be the same with any of us, wouldn't it?

It'll be...interesting to see him again, I think. I wonder how he's grown. [ Magicman has sparring on his mind. It's never far from his thoughts, really, though he doesn't battle much any more. ]

It depends where you go to, I suppose....some of those places look interesting, but not particularly pleasant.

[It's probably mostly Coloredman, given his whimsical nature and familiarity with Magicman allowing him to not pull punches. Not that he ever pulls punches.]

I'd be a-okay without Madoi! It'd just be more boring, that's all! [Lies he would not be okay without Madoi he'd worry a lot about her and about what he should do]

I bet he'd kick your butt all the way to the UnderNet! You always hide behind your virus summons and use your little tricks to deceive him! [But Coloredman you hide behind your ball and summons too--]

Munny's thinking it'd be fun if I went with you! Then you'd have someone familiar and you wouldn't be moping around in your room, 'cause I'd drag you out to have fun!

[ He knows Colorman well enough to know that is totally a flat out lie. Even if he's technically being honest; Colorman never really thinks about the future, not in the way others do. He takes things as they come, so he probably hasn't considered it seriously. ]

...Ah, well, if you're sure. [ DOUBT.JPG ]

It's just a friendly spar. [ Well, he'd like it to be, anyway. ] I'm not going to pick fights with him if he doesn't want it, you know. [ Geez, do you think he's that impolite. ]

With me? [ Good god. ] Well, that would definitely make things more interesting, that's for sure.

[The future? What future, he just wants to have fun!]

He'd still beat you by a mile! That's just how Rockman is, hehehe! You'd just be letting yourself be his target practice! [No, but he does think it's not going to be much of a spar.]

That just means I'll have to work harder. [ If he was Fireman or Elecman, this dialogue would get a rise out of him.

Being who he is, he doesn't really mind it. It's practically zen. ] I'm getting rusty, anyway, so training can only be a good thing.

You'd probably enjoy it. You know, anyone who gets transported in is automatically considered a hero? That feels like a mistake they might come to regret. [ Despite being everyone's impulse control, Magicman's morals point due 'whatever benefits'. He's not completely devoid of a conscience, but he treats it more like a rough guide to what he should do than anything. ]

And then get beaten by Rockman's power of the hour again! [Gdi Rockman and his special abilities no one else has.]

Ohhh, me, a hero? I could be a hero...

[Yes, that is mad giggling that can never mean anything good.]

Oh, I think it'd be different this time. He doesn't have his operator with him, after all. [ No getting battlechips fed to you. No more plot armour. ]

I wouldn't quite describe you as a hero... [ Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all. But it certainly would be an interesting one. ]

Oh, right! No operator! That means he can't use those Soul Unisons! Maybe you'll have a chance then! Just a bit of a chance!

[Okay no he knows Rockman heavily relies on his operator for his abilities, he's just teasing Magicman.]

But you said they consider anyone who goes there a hero! I could be a hero!

[He obviously isn't stuck on that because he'd get praise for being a good-doer. No, he's thinking of all the terrible, terrible chaos he could cause and the expressions of shock and betrayal from the common mass when they realize their hero isn't really being heroic at all.]

[ He knows, he knows. He's used to Colorman pushing everyone's buttons all the time. ] Just a little bit, maybe. We'll see how it goes.

Well, it's just that you're not a very conventional looking hero. You're not a school-age kid or an adult in spandex or something like that... [ what the fuck are superhero comics, he doesn't know ] But of course, they'd still trust you, which is easily exploitable.

Unconventional is better! A school-age kid or an adult in spandex is what everyone expects now. That's boring! The wackier, the better!

Trust? They're so quick to give out trust to people they don't know! They're so foolish!

I suppose you'd appeal to children, at the very least. [ Colorman has always reminded him of an escaped arcade game mascot, and the way he acts does absolutely nothing to dispel the impression. ]

Aren't they, though? It's almost cute. [ Good PR will be taken advantage of. ] They'll almost certainly regret it.

All those poor, poor children. They'll never know what's coming to them~

[Children were always the easiest to exploit, and he would put that to good use.]

All the chaos in the world will make it even more vibrant and interesting!

[And he laughs, a mix of pure amusement and joy and sinister malice. Sometimes, with the way he acts, it's hard to remember that he's a notorious criminal, just like Magicman and the rest of World Three.]

Heh heh. It really is an advantage, coming in on the good deeds of others. What a wonderful feeling, right?

Well, that's what we're here for, isn't it? Life just isn't fun without a little mayhem thrown in.

[ They're retired, technically, but they've never backed down from their associations - and they all have prior criminal history. Though their goals might have shifted over time, destruction is still what they're best at.

And with no prior attachment to the people of this new world, why shouldn't they test the waters with a little chaos? ]

And then when it all turns into suspicion and distrust, that's when we can cause the most trouble!

[Coloredman cackled. Magicman understood where the fun really was; of course he did, or else they wouldn't be working together. The two of them would cause so much destruction and mayhem over there, and it would be fun.]

Life's all about the mayhem and chaos, and unexpected things! A life without any of that isn't a life at all!

I suppose other people might not be pleased, but that can be handled when it happens.

[ He's the most businesslike, for lack of a better word, but it doesn't mean he's lost sight of World Three's founding principles. Causing chaos is what they do.

And he certainly doesn't regret any of it. ]

A world like that can't be peaceful for too long. We'd just be warming them up for the main events, that's all. Heh heh.

Who cares if they're unhappy? Oh, boo hoo, they don't like what we're doing. Well too bad for them!

[Yeah, he'll leaving handling the aftermath to you Magicman. He was never good at dealing with that.]

A meal without an appetizer would be a sad meal indeed! And we know just how to make the best dishes!

It'll be a problem if we're targeted by other heroes who want to remain so. But...we'll cross that bridge, too. Probably with a couple of fights.

[ Colorman's job description is practically to go in and make a mess. Mopping up what happens next isn't something he's expected to do (though Magicman occasionally entertains the thought; it would require Colorman to actually take responsibility, though.) ]

Food metaphors, now? And I didn't even have to bring them up this time. [ He'll refrain from any curry puns. ]

Ohh, it'd be a problem if Rockman butted in on our fun, wouldn't it? We'll have to come up with a few nasty plans to take care of him first!

[Because it was almost guaranteed that he would attempt to stop them, because that was just how the blue navi was.]

I know how much you like food metaphors! I like any kind of metaphor!

[It was typically Fireman or Elecman who tried to dissuade Magicman from making curry puns. Coloredman tended to encourage them, much to their annoyance.]

Not just Rockman this time. He'd probably have help...this is a place where people from many places end up, after all. Many of them would be used to dealing with their own evildoers.

[ He's thinking about it. He'd suggest more subtlety, but Colorman and subtlety don't belong in the same sentence. ]

Start small, I think. Then we can work up to something a little more...fun.

[ Magicman's shitty sense of humor is well known. He likes puns far too much for his own good. ]

Uh oh, is it gonna be everyone versus us? That'd be a lot, maybe too much!

[But still equally as fun, even if they didn't get to pull off their plans. Just messing with a great deal of people was enough to amuse Coloredman.]

Small... small's boring, doing things big all the time is boring too! Variety's the spice of life, right?

[Good thing he's in the company of another with an equally shitty sense of humour.]

Heh heh. Overwhelming odds means more people to fight. You're bound to hit a target no matter where you swing.

[ He places a great deal more importance on plans, but he's not above throwing them to the wind just to mess with people. A good leader needs to know when to be flexible, after all. ~~Or to have multiple contingency plans, which is usually the option he takes.~~ ]

Start small, end up big. Large dishes are composed of smaller ingredients, after all.

[ Oh boy, here come the food metaphors. What have you done. ]

A one hundred percent hit rate no matter what! I like the sound of that!

[Winging it was just about what Coloredman did on a daily basis, but he was more than cunning enough to come up with short-term plans. Usually only when the payout was tons of chaos and hilarity.]

It's all about mixing it up properly to get the right flavour!

It certainly works out, doesn't it? No matter what, our attacks will be bound to hit people.

And if we can trick them into hitting themselves, so much the better. Things get so confusing in fights like that.

[ One on one duels are more serious. Melees with lots of people fighting a few are easy to deal with, in a way. It's a way that would leave you quite sore, but it was still fun. ]

And if you factor in all the opponents we've yet to meet...it's certainly going to be an interesting dish.

Oh, I like the sound of that! They'll be like puppets dancing to our tune~! Kyahahaha!

[Brawls where you couldn't figure out who was hitting what and where attacks were coming from were the best. At least, when he wasn't taking the brunt of the attacks.]

Undiscovered ingredients and recipes for chaos are waiting for us!

Well, people are easily manipulated, aren't they...? In that way, they really are puppets.

[ Man, Operation Animal was fun as hell. No regrets, would do again. ]

Heh heh. This is going to be fun. [ He's excited, subdued reactions aside. ] Oh, I heard you were getting a new power going there? Something about being able to summon balls?

So many little strings tied around them, jerking them this way and that! And if you ask them, they'll say it was all their idea!

[Not gonna lie, Madoi leaping around like a frog was hilarious.]

Not just normal balls like mine. Any kind of ball I want! I can create beachballs, metal balls, wood balls, water balloons, rubber balls, anyything I can think of!

[He can already imagine the chaos he'll cause with that ability.]

We could have a virus circus! [In which all viruses balance on cute polka dot balls, and then attack the audience--]
