Got a whiff of nostalgia and now you come prowling around me again.

No one out there remembers me, and that's the way it ought to be. Hell of a lot better than the way it could be.

People only remember the great and the terrible and I aint never tried to be either of those. I just did what I had to do, like anyone does.

So you just take your memories of where from and be satisfied with that, don't go dragging me out here and stirring up trouble you don't need.

And they're wrong. I've seen the future, and sure, mankind's got a rough time of it coming up, but we get past it. We accomplish so much, going on into the future... we touch the stars. And there's horrors, too, but so much beauty, all out there. When we stop fighting each other long enough to see what else is possible.
