I have missed the fun we had. Mostly the adventures where we went on nice, calm archaeological digs. I don't see any signs of the Dark Hand around here so maybe this is a chance to start again. Even if they are, at least I know we will be in this together.

I would like to see Jade and Uncle again. Tohru too, even if he's not good. He wasn't bad once I got to know him.

I haven't come across any of my men, no, though not for lack of looking. Mercifully, Shendu seems nowhere to be found either. Though that's not to say I haven't run into quite a few... other demons. I seem to attract the bloody things, in every sense of the word. [ He shudders. ]

Pretty much. [ Jackie does not feel much regret for stretching the truth a tiny bit by this point. He's had his share of scary creatures but few if any demons. His Mun digs archaeology and the idea of Jackie getting to do some real science.]

Maybe if you tried something different, like giving back some of those priceless artifacts you've stolen it might help. [ Heh right and a tiger can change it's stripes. ]

Do you suppose I was allowed to keep any of them? What Shendu didn't force me to get rid of, I had to sell to pay for his ridiculous idea of essentials. Although now that he's gone, I suppose I could pawn some of his furniture off too...

Now, if I may change the subject: may I inquire as to what your mundane is planning to do with you? Mine wishes me to inform you that there is always room at my game, although I cannot express strongly enough the magnitude of my objection to that idea.
