If this is your idea of better, brat, you need to re-familiarize yourself with the definition.

Even if those naive plans of yours are possible, do you know how to wage a war?

[The smile is sharp and bitter.]

Let's pretend for a moment what you want could actually happen. What happens after? Who will lead the splintered remains? Who has the acumen and charisma and the desire to unite in truth a country torn apart by civil war yet again?

You don't have an answer do you, brat. "If" doesn't count. But I'll give you this. If you and your co-conspirators can bring in enough support and the right mix of talents, I might consider following you.

Until then, my true loyalties lie where they always have, with the real Fourth Mizukage.

And yet a strange quality to have when you are a shinobi.

Be happy that this new universe is at least familiar, and does not have its own personnality or sense of humor.

If I may, how is Ame faring in that world you are in?

You are supposed to be obedient, for all the Villages hide that truth under the word 'Loyalty'. And except in Konoha, and maybe Suna, the mission comes first, long before any thought about your comrades.

At least, you are not back to square one, with your abilities gone, and your only ally is not an alien. Strange place, to be sure.

Konoha has always been known for its large population: it's the most popular Village, after all. And your muse seems knowledgable: make sure he doesn't fall into ill-intentionned hands.

And if he ever want to torment you some more, ask him to throw you into the Wake: I wouldn't mind another ninja around, and misery love company.

Or at least better for your mental health, yes. The things our 'muns' can put us through would not seem displaced in the Torture and Interrogation section of any Village.

Well, uf you ever need me, you know where to find me now.
