I've never been to public school, so I'm not sure if they allow butterflies. If you like to learn so much I suggest a tutor in the meantime.

Not at all. Humans typically attend school for most of their childhood and teenage years, where they learn stuff like history, math, language, science--those are the core subjects--and other things. It's meant to prepare us for whatever job we decide to take on once we graduate.

Huh, so it's like a lot of general skills? That everybody has to learn? Does everybody need all that?

Where I am from people pick their lives and then train under a master that teaches them how to get better.

Something like that, yeah--I wouldn't say everyone needs to learn it? But a lot of people don't really get much freedom to decide until they go into more specialized schooling.

Honestly, the way it works where you're from sounds like it'd work a lot better anyway.

I think so too, but then there something that needs to be said about teaching a lot of things. Maybe more people should learn about lots of different things.

You never know when they might be useful! Or, at the very least, find interesting.

That's true. Variety's the spice in life, as people have said. And sometimes people have a hard time choosing what they want to do until they've tried a bunch of things anyway.

I know! The most important subject is studying an enemy's weak point, so they clearly teach it.

Not every school is one where you learn magic or controlling powers or anything...

I already am proficient in math, languages, and science. History tends to be a subjective subject that is normally ful of bias. [Kalluto is from a world where they let kids get a high paying jobs at the age of 11.]

I would prefer to go to a school, where you can learn to such control.

I think you're kind of out of luck then... The only school I can think of like that is in an AU game...

Not every school can be an Academy of Adventure or anything; sometimes you just get thrown to the wolves and told to figure things out yourself.

Then I'll have to keep on eye out for such places, public school sounds horrific.

Being thrown to the wolves as you say is a more interesting way teach things. Even if there are difficulties that you can come across.

xavier_institute is the only one I know off the top of my head, my mun's been looking at it off and on, but like I said, it's an AU game. Can't seem to actually get any motivation to pull an application together though, I've noticed.

They do say experience is the best teacher... [A little warning of what he was getting into would've been nice though.]

It's a good option to have if she gets better at handling me. [He pretty much assumes the worst of his mun. However, if she gets a hang of him, then he'll be able to see more out there.]

For your sake, I hope she does. There's a lot of interesting things out there. [Of course, that depended entirely on one's definition of "interesting," but that's why such a variety of things comes in handy.]
