[To say that June was annoyed right now was an understatement. She was in the middle of something rather emotional here and in the throws of passion.]
Perhaps it would have been a better idea to at least finish the first novel before attempting to "give me a voice".

It would help you find a far better point to pull me from, and allow you to give me a far better character. Especially if you wish for me to meet this Officer Javert.
