Muggle.

Please do us all a favor and stop pretending that someone like you can do justice to a wizard of my complexity and intelligence. It is insulting to me and doomed to failure for you. While I know I can't put you off of it entirely if you choose not to let it go, just allow me to warn you that I will not be as tolerant of your meddling as my ... counterpart. I am a very busy man, and I do not care to have my time wasted.

Always thought you were a bit of a duffer.

Listen to you.

You sound like one of those villains from the Mad Muggle comics. Meddling. Go on, you great prat.

'Of your complexity and intelligence', eh?

Perce. Don't make me pop that swelled head. I guarantee you won't like the process.

Well, with that hair, Perce...

[Hello there, prat brother.]

Are you sure about that? It's blocking out the sun from where I'm standing.

You have what I like to call 'Prat Hair'.

Hmm.

[Yes, he is totally raising his wand to measure your head, Perce, squinting past it like an artist past his thumb.]

No, it's definitely swelled. Probably a curse. I'll see if I can remove it, shall I?

[He grins and flicks his wand smoothly back into his palm. The smile is light-hearted enough, but there is a certain measure of consideration in his eyes. Hmm.]

That prissy look you get never stopped me before. Stop opening yourself up to insults if you don't like it.

[Bill freezes, his wand half-turned toward his brother. He's usually a quicker draw, but this was Percy. Aside from the occasional prattiness, there wasn't much to worry about. Except on this occasion, apparently, there is.

[He doesn't lower his wand, but he does raise his other hand in a calming gesture, his gaze still fixed on his brother's face.]

Perce, what's going on?
wizarding_indy: (displeasure)

[personal profile] wizarding_indy 2012-03-25 05:37 am (UTC)(link)
[Bill's next thought is the Imperius Curse. The one after that is Polyjuice. Either way, he has no intention of lowering his wand; what's more, although whoever this is is a faster draw than Percy, Bill is sure he's still faster. Cursebreakers tended to develop reflexes aurors could only envy.

[So Bill's shoulders straighten, his balance shifting just slightly, his eyes hardening as he answers with quiet confidence.]

No.
undoubtedly: (Seriously?)

[...And here Theo thought he's seen everything. Merlin.]

I almost forgot how highly you like to think of yourself.

[In a way, the spell is comforting--at least he isn't starting out lethal. Then again, someone wearing his brother's guise is attacking him over brotherly teasing. That is very much not comforting.

[With a deft twist of his wand Bill blocks the spell and sidesteps in case of follow-up, lips moving with a wordless spell of his own. Incarcerous.]
undoubtedly: (so very amused)

[personal profile] undoubtedly 2012-03-25 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
[Theo very nearly isn't able to keep from laughing, and he certainly isn't able to keep his lips from twitching. Why so pretentious, Weasley?]

Ah, of course. And how is convincing them of that going for you?

They usually do whenever we start complaining. From what I've seen, most these muns care very little for our opinions.
