The footage for one thing. [One of the basics in any security system.] For another, there were just enough skin cells left to determine via DNA that a female bearing some human traits had been handling the components. The only other people who handled those components were myself and a few of my other assistants. All Galvan. Given those who were present at the time it was first activated, it wasn't hard to narrow down the list.

...To be fair, I'm actually managed to do some serious damage to it though, I mean if even you can't fix it and have to start from scratch then in some kinda weird way I outdid you!

Everyone has something that they want to run away from. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. It's finding the courage to stand up in the face of what you fear most that helps create a hero.

If this sort of treatment is what I get for being in a game, I'd like her to pull me out of it. Not only is nothing getting done, but dredging up the past is unhelpful in a crisis situation.

Because for some strange reason, no matter how hopeless or pointless it is to keep fighting, even if the fight's as good as already lost, he doesn't give up. Even when he's miserable and likely doesn't even know if it's worth the effort anymore, he'll keep trying to find some way to turn things around.

I've never met anyone quite like him before or since.

The only reason I said that is because it's a lesson you either learn the hard way or learn from someone else. I don't recommend the first option.

[Cue Saft just going into deep thought mode over that, because let's face it - doing something that selfless and amazing and being able to stand up to her father after all the crap he's put the people she cares about and herself through would be pretty damn amazing.

Of course, it's ultimately your decision on whether or not you do so. However, as previously said, Ben isn't one to give up. Especially not on people he cares about. You're not likely to shake him any time soon.
