Fresh start? Pick up where we left off? Who cares. You've kept me in solitary long enough, it's time to let the monster out again. Find something. Just make it worth my time.

I say Mun's had enough time to relax. My boots are gathering dust and not in a good way.

You know this is the first time I've gotten any fresh air in... geez, I don't even know how long it's been. That's how long it's been.

We need some kinda plan to stay in action this time. I dunno about you, but I'm tired of getting shelved.

A good fight would be a start. Mission would be better.

I know the feeling. What's the likelihood of success on your end?

Depends on whether my old network is still around, but for the short-term it looks promising. A few scraps to get back in the groove.

Don't know about the long-term.

One thing that never changes about the world, there's always another fight. Just make sure to pick a good one, huh?

[mildly] That would actually be the one thing to surprise me more than the idea of you and, uh, 'sap'.

Just because I was married once... [Mun will be getting a very pointed glare about now]

Oh. [There is a small pause and a slightly puzzled look. That's just something that never occured to him.] I didn't know.

[emilblonsky]

See, that is why I've had it with the sap!

[dontmakeme]

[oo touchy.] I'm not going to like you any better for it, if that's what you're afraid of.

[Don't worry, Blonsky, you're still a manly macho abomination asshole man. But is that a flicker of mirth in Bruce's eyes? Mmmaybe.]

[emilblonsky]

[Just have all the glares, Bruce. See what the mun has to deal with? So much Abomination asshole attitude that it's actually amusing.]

Good. [He grumps back, scowling because dammit, even with all his bluster, he still blurted that out.]

[dontmakeme]

[Very amusing. And actually preferable to the usual bashing each other's face in - at least as far as Bruce is concerned. One's milage probably varies there but he's going to enjoy it while it lasts.]

Okay. [Forever unflappable under the glares. If anything he looks like he's holding back one of those rare smiles.] You want me to change the subject?

As if you had anything interesting worth saying. [He sees that smirk staying there Banner, and he finds it positively infuriating. He gives a strained sigh and folding his arms behind him, tensing and clearly trying his best to just stand there and look composed instead.]

[Oh, and yes he would very much like a change in subject. He's not interested in exploring what used to be his personal life.]

How would you know?

[True, not that they've really talked...ever. He's hit him a few times, sure, but that's about the only exchange they've made between each other as human.]

I heard enough from Ross. [Who was, even in Blonsky's opinion, a horrible resource, but he has to reply with something. If he's lucky mentioning the General might even needle Bruce a bit.]

[dontmakeme]

[It does. It's so obvious, too, and Bruce shouldn't fall for it but for a moment his lips part, eyes narrowing, before he relaxes into a sardonic chuckle.]

I'm sure you have.

[emilblonsky]

[It starts off well, but then turns into the completely wrong reaction. Blonsky's eyes narrow dangerously, looking like he's sizing up Bruce and a twitch away from attacking him as his entire frame tenses. This time he doesn't have a retort, rather he just seethes, and tries to keep himself still instead of throttling Bruce for laughing.]

[He can feel the change with every fibre of his body, almost like a cloud covering the sun. The laughter dies almost instantly and he looks up sharply.] Don't.

[It's not aggressive, not in a soldierly way, but there's a different quality to his voice. He has gone very still, his face fixed and alert as he watches Blonsky carefully.] You can't. We're on neutral ground.

[Bruce, that's not how it works, you can't just make up rules like a five-year-old on a playground.]

[There. He's shut him up and it seems like Bruce has grown a spine since they last squared off. There's a cruel smile that graces Blonsky's face as he watches Bruce go on alert.]

I'd have my boot on your throat by now if I had. [He doesn't relax because it's clearly bothering Banner, and right now this is his way of making up for that 'being married' comment earlier.]

[dontmakeme]

[He bristles, ever so slightly, and huffs contemptuously at the threat.]

I'm not scared of you.

[emilblonsky]

[He's getting far too much enjoyment from needling Banner and while his grin mellows, he retains a smirk on his face. It's one thing to say he's not scared, it's another to really mean it.]

I'd be more inclined to believe that if it came from the Hulk.

You'd be inclined in a lot of ways.

[The retort feels clumsy, coming out almost sulkily. At least Bruce can refrain from crossing his arms.]
