I understand that us 'original characters' are a lot more difficult to to manage over canon ones. We have a habit of evolving in unexpected ways until that 'ah!' moment has been achieved and at long last we are whole, so to speak; a wrapped up package ready to unravel through story and development. Of course, I understand a work in progress being an artist and thank you for that, by the way.

There is a certain beauty in watching yourself unravel but does it need to fall under 'crime drama'. I am aware you have been searching for a conflict that will drive me to ~spill my dark past~, but real--

There's a real affection for the crime drama genre around these parts. You'd think all the supernatural subject material would suffice, but evidently not.

You would think. And on that matter is it not a bit overdone? Alas. they're fond of it. Oh how exciting, a 400 year old witch with a ~haunted past~ teams up with some skeptical investigator. Things unravel.

Could the story line be any more typical? I think not.
