I've had a wonderful time. But this wasn't it.
So here we are again, ladies and gentlemen. Also the mundane, who is neither.
To be that classy, they'd have to get up a few pegs. Frankly, they'd have to go up the whole board.
Speaking of bored, here I am in this place. Which is about as interesting as a speakeasy that serves milk.
I'd ask you to provide something interesting, but I never ask people to go against their nature. So I'm hoping for chance to have an accident happen around here. Something worth doing. Something with the curves of a violin and legs that go up to her eyeballs, if I'm lucky.
[A moment of quiet]
Oh, stop bragging. Just because you get that doesn't mean the rest of us have to listen. Though if you'll pass on her phone number I wouldn't object. Though she could make me one.

You're an answer to prayers that even the Romans would say were a bit much.
And Toon Town, you say? Are there more like you there? If so I can predict a stampede.
[A brief look at the mundane]
You can go now, mister. Where I'm going you can't follow. And you wouldn't be any good if you did.

There's lots of toons there, but none with quite the same color pallet.
[Her turn to arc a brow, given the arc already there that was saying something.]
You'd fit right in.
In Toon Town of course.

From where I'm standing a whole battalion could fit. But speaking of pallets, can I buy you a drink? Failing that, may I buy you a yacht?
Don't answer that, I can't afford a yacht. But everything I can afford is yours.
[His most charming look, moving closer]
And you aren't most women. You're certainly taller. And while your face might launch a thousand ships, the rest of you will torpedo them.

Good thing I don't need a yacht, but are you sure you can afford to pay attention?
[Is that what that look was? She thought he was about to sneeze. Forgive her while she refreshes her lipstick.]
Got that right, buster.

I think I can manage it. And let me tell you up front: I have no issue with toons whatsoever. Why, some of my girlfriends have even been figments of my imagination.

Equal opportunity fella huh? Always a girl on the mind, if nowhere else. Reminds me of some of the men who came around the club.

[Offers a cigar]
And I'm not like them at all, I can assure you. I likely don't have the cash. Then again, with you in the club I'm surprised that area bank robberies aren't at an all time high.
As well as complaints to the Hays Commission.

[She declined with a wave of a gloved hand. Paint and flames did not get along famously.]
Looking at your suit I can believe it. I haven't caused a riot in weeks, but it's nice to be wanted.
Toons get away with a lot more on film, painted with a different brush you could say.
