Okay, now this is just ridiculous. I'm supposed to be excited, over the moon to see her, that's my wife after all. But you and this overreaction have got to stop. She's my Annie, I'm not sharing her, not even with you.

Besides, we haven't officially spoken, all I did was respond to what she had said. Give it a break and take a breath. Just don't screw this up if she does respond. Now run along, get the extra icon space you wanted. Finish the application you are writing for the other guy and get me somewhere already.

Maybe then we can see Annie all the time. Plus, you really liked the Katniss I was talking to, sooner you get me set up sooner you can do that whole "tempting" thing with other muns to try and get me somewhere with all of them. Now we're talking, get to work.

[Smiles, pauses.]

Any Annie would be happy to have you.

Annie!

(Smiles so wide his cheeks might burst and scoops her into a hug.)

I'd hope so, I'm lost without you.

I'm lost without you. [She buries her face into his chest.]

(Cradles her to his chest, a gentle hand ran down long tresses.)

It's okay, I'm here now, I'm not going to leave your side.

(She relaxed and nuzzled feeling safe there with him.)

Promise?

(All the anxiety, nerves and stress just melt away. He feels strength in his limbs again, lightening in his heart. If she is here with him, then she is safe. Finnick would do anything the mun asked of him, if only they would let him remain with Annie, keeping her safe.)

Promise. I'd be a fool to leave my beautiful wife behind again. Never, I never want to let you out of my sight.

(He kisses the top of her head)

Good. Don't want to lose you again. (Her fingers curled into his shirt. Annie would go anywhere mun wanted her to if only to not lose him.)

(Those words break his heart. He has been told his fate and his one regret is leaving her behind. One thing he does not know however is that they have a son. All he can do is hold her tighter, pressing lips to her ear and whispering.)

(As of right now he is stuck in limbo so to speak. The mun brings him here and just joined him to

sixwordstories. They intend to put him somewhere and it is almost inevitable one of his demands will be her presence.)

You've missed so much Finnick. (She breathed out, she felt content.)

(She's in limbo as well, but has now joined there and is awaiting this place as well. Mun has a weird sense of humor.)

Tell me everything. (He just wants to hear her voice, listen to her speak.)

(Mun will point out a possessive snarl from Finnick at that link and that he is not complaining while they obtain a wiki link to ready his journal for joining.)

(Annie does enjoy the possessive snarl. Not that she'd let anyone else touch her.)

(Finnick would kill anyone who did. But he trusts her completely.)

A-a son? We have a son? Please tell me Katniss did it, she stopped Snow, you and him, you're safe? (There is such a mixture there, complete and utter joy at learning that they have a son. She has a piece of him with her always. But, fear as well, that somehow nothing changed and now Snow can put their child through the same fate as his parents.)

It was stopped. The Capitol is gone. I even moved back home to raise him. So he could grow up where you did.

(Mun though plays her as still being pregnant if a game comes into play.)

(Relief washes over his features, Finnick hugs her tightly then presses several kisses over her face with a light hand.)

What did you name him? A son, we really have a son? This is amazing!

(OH! The mun here likes that, interesting to see Finnick's response to a pregnant Annie.)

Taking the time to ask a question can mean the difference between living or dying most times for me. I'm not in the habit of asking shape changing strangers questions or believing what they tell me.

(Actually seems to think it over, shrugs.)

A god is a being with control over an aspect of life. Poseidon controls the seas. He is the one that creates the currents and the storms.

In a round about way but your people still came up with idea of the games. Humans as a whole seem to have a thing for blood sport.

It also does help that the Hunger Games do not exist here and for most of the places you could be sent to there isn't a tyrannical government.

(Slips a random sugarcube into his mouth and crunches it. He just needs the distraction while he thinks about all of that, especially the last few lines. Finnick is almost afraid of how enticing that is, what he would do to that President if he had the chance.)

As long as they convince Annie's mun to bring her, that I am okay with, a place without the Hunger Games....(Sounds perfect to him. Though, Finnick is resigned that he still could die, his mun is not the nicest person.)

That happens, I'll send him your way quickly. Make me a deal, don't make death any easier on him than he did us in life? I don't have much to bargain with me, but if ever anyone deserved to suffer, it's him.

A deal? Very well. If it does not go against your morals you will owe me one favor that you must complete when I decide upon it. In exchange Snow will receive every torture and toil every soul who died from the games received. I can't recreate emotional trauma but I can certainly cause physical damage.

(There is a laugh at that. His morals? Hades, Finnick gave up his morals a long time ago to survive, making a deal to ensure Snow suffers is well within the realm of OKAY for Finnick. Socially acceptable? Among the victors it would be.)

Physical damage is fine by me, he is weak, that should be enough to make him break like he did us. You've got a deal.

Very well then. As a warning, be careful of the other gods. They can be a jealous and lustful sort. Some such as Hermes and Poseidon should treat you right.

Keeping the advice in mind, I'll probably avoid getting close enough to exchange names.

Except maybe with that Poseidon guy.

[But, all doom and gloom and paranoia aside... She manages a little smile.]

But congratulations on finding Annie. I'm happy for you, Finnick.

I'm seeing that. She's pregnant Katniss and her mun has told mine if I go somewhere they will take her there possibly.

(Thing being, he does not trust his mun to take him somewhere safe, he has seen where the other guy is headed and safe is not the word used to describe it.)

But, it's great to have her back.

[That really is something to be concerned about. Pregnant. Katniss' stomach twists a little at the very thought--it's not that she didn't know these games could be as bad as the Hunger Games, but this is a stark reminder.]

And if you're together, then you can protect her. It's better than being apart. [And it's much better than just not knowing.] I guess I have to say congratulations on the baby, too, huh.
