[SUPER EXCITED. A home! They haven't had a home before! Okay so it's not a done deal yet, fingers crossed but so excited yes.

They've never been in a city before.

And there's so many people there. And they get to meet all of them. Eventually. It'll take a while.

Not even slightly worried about super villains. Not even a little bit. No one's that bad, mun, don't be silly, people are great.

They need to get a notebook for all this. And maybe something better than a stick of charcoal for writing.]

Good luck with that, especially with all those folks with superpowers running around. [Not the kind of place Ales would enjoy living, but they don't seem to mind. Then again, they sort of have powerful abilities, too.]

But hey, if a super villain does try to ruin your world, at least you have a ton of heroes over there to stop them.

[Some of those people can no way be mortal like this fellow over here! Ales unfortunately doesn't know what it's like having a superpower, but he's happy with his booksmarts and creativity as it is.]

[They're not very good at reading people. They don't even know what sarcasm is, Ales. They'd probably agree, yes it is very good for them]

A typewriter that's also a watch...? [Ales mutters this loud enough for them to hear, but then he brings his voice back to normal volume.]

That world must be incredibly technologically advanced for them to have such a thing! Places where multiple creatures with magical abilities tend to ignore the sciences in favor of the magical arts, but either this society has progressed much in the way of research or there's other forces in play here. Perhaps the culture favors the sciences over the mystical, or the current and previous leaders made some sanctions encouraging the two sides to coexist...

[Ales does like to use fancy words right now.]

Say, what do you know so far about the city you're in? How does it exactly work?

Very large. Parks! Green. Warm. Not too warm. Good. Very friendly. Lizards! In suits. Metal suits. Talk for very long. Very nice. Many friends.

Forests and jungles make up a large part of the Glade back home, and the Heart of the World is in the middle of one, anyway.

Sure, I haven't specifically seen a lizard wear armor, but if toads do it, why not lizards? [He shrugs. Don't you have frog people or lizard people where you come from?]

Have not seen this much green. Desert!


Toads? Have not seen. Never in armor. No lizards. Never in armor. Very strange.

...So you've lived in the desert all your life. All your thousands of years of life. [That definitely came out more sarcastic than usual]

But if you've never seen an armored lizard, it makes sense you'd be fascinated by your friend. [To be honest, Ales would geek out if he ever went to a new world with different technology. Living in his worlds makes you less surprised at new species.]
