[Shisui looks just shy of cackling.]

[Shisui does as told, placing a hand over his mouth just in case the sudden lack of chatter isn't noticeable enough.]

[His eyes fall to stare at the hand around his wrist, unable to bring himself to do anything about it. He'll just stare instead.

[Shisui tugs Itachi's wrist.]

I'll just make it my quest to find something that will make you smile.

[Perhaps-- if you hadn't grabbed him close like that he might have smiled, eventually. As it stands though, the tug is surprise enough to make him suck in a breath, eyes fixed on Shisui's.]

[ Shisui looks at their hands and frowns.]

If I left would it make you happy? That would be sensible since you're trying to get away from me.

[Well that's one way to stop his resistance, and a sure fire way of making his heart sink in his chest.

He has no words. Seriously, Shisui? Seriously? Perhaps the glare is enough to convey the thought that he is not happy to joke about such serious things right now.]

[ Shisui sighs, having no other recourse. He reaches down and places his fingers at the corners of Itachi's mouth, then pushes up.]

The touch makes him pull back, reaching up both hands to force Shisui's fingers from his lips.]

[Shisui sighs.]

[Shisui smiles very, very softly.]

I'm tempted to call that a fake just to appease me.

[He can't, though. He's utterly delighted with it, fake or not.]

[That smile in turn makes him duck his head again.]

[Shisui taps his forehead to Itachi's bowed one.]

[Just tipping his head up there to look at him.]

[Shisui now feels like and utter sap. Total sap. So sticky sweet he needs a shower.]
