My Dear Mundane,
Your enthusiasm about this program and the question of whether or not I might make an appearance as a character in it is somewhat disturbing. The entire thing sounds, quite frankly, rather distasteful, and I am horrified to think of what it might do to Herr Salieri's reputation.
In addition, if it is actually set in the 1790s, I would only be a few years old for much of it. Not to mention the fact that I never attended the Conservatory, which I assume is the "distinguished music academy" referred to in that article. As I'm sure you're aware, given that this preposterous exercise in public letter-writing was your idea in the first place. If you will excuse me, I have letters to Mama and Karl to finish writing.
Yours, etc.,
Franz Xaver Wolfgang Mozart
(OOC: F.X.W. here is inspired by a couple of semi-recent literary depictions of the Mozart family, but apologies if any sort of historical RPF is not okay.)
