[ There's a pause, as if he's fighting back more tears. ] It sure as hell wasn't easy to just leave them there. But I did what I had to do for their safety. More importantly, where the hell is it you're taking me? I'd give anything to just be somewhere safe for once.

Man, it kills me knowing you and Clem are out there, in danger, and there's nothing I can do about it.

Clementine will be fine. I made sure that her and AJ are safe. You don't need to worry about that, Lee. It really does suck we couldn't do anything for you though.
