My dearest mundane,

I know you are as nervous to be donning the title of Moderator as I am to be accepting this crown. But we, both of us, have advisors and friends to whom we may look for guidance.

Have faith in yourself and your friends, and they will carry you far. Though I am uncertain of Aslan's plan for us, I believe, now, that he knows what he is doing.

Whatever the case may be, we will face these new challenges with courage and hope.

Just promise me one thing, mundane. If you could. Do not keep me locked away within the castle. I do not think I could bare to be the sort of king who rules from behind the walls of a fortress.

The people - My people - deserve better than that.

On both sides, yes. Still. To be honest, it can be a bit intimidating. I am not certain I am quite ready to be king.

Being King does sound really terrifying, but I'm willingly to bet you'll be a fine one. After all, you were chosen for a reason.

My point was, I believe, that if you remained behind your castle walls, you'd miss a lot of what is happening, even more than you already do, due to being noble as you are.

I have no intentions of sitting idly by when their is trouble in Narnia. It is a King's job to keep the peace, not ignore the world outside the castle walls as though it did not exist.

I had no doubt that you'd see things such. But you do have to be careful where you thread, there are obstacles ahead and the most dangerous won't be out in the open, but hidden till it's too late.

[He puts a hand on Caspian's shoulder.]

And not all paths are known for you to walk on and if you were to, you'd meet different people there than a lesser creature.

[Of course he wouldn't.]

Not cryptic, just too in love with words, perhaps. What I'm saying is that it might not always be safe for you to go out, because there are those that mean you harm. And what I am further saying is that when you go out, you might not always hear and see what others would, because you are the King and it changes how people treat you.

[He gives his shoulder a squeeze, reassuring and smiling at him.]

That'd be very kind of you. I can't saw for sure yet whether I'm coming or not. She's really nervous about this kinda stuff, although, it looks like it might have a slow start, which is definitely something she'd want.

Yeah, I guess being a king might make you a bit busy. So, is he king of this Narnia place?
