[After all, it's two whole Velvet siblings...ME and Sho(s), eat your heart out. Which is kind of thrilling and a bit saddening to think about, meeting again after parting on such a note. Still, she's resolute in her decision, and this is journey is something only she can take on. Not even her own family can sway her from that. Despite  having such thoughts flit around in her head, of course Elizabeth's sunny disposition trucks on, seemingly without much care in the world.]

How exciting! Whether we duel face-to-face in the fray or band together against a common enemy, I look forward to meeting her again.

Of course they're gonna hurt if they're coming from every direction from three different Personas. That's against the rules, right? A rule? 's gotta be.

[No guarantees, Adachi-baby. She might not know the full story of his antics, but what sort of (former) Velvet Room attendant would she be if she couldn't feel Magatsu-Izanagi's presence at the very least? Not to mention that she likes to keep a watch on any competitors.]

Quite the contrary. You are fortunate that she limited herself to as many.

[he should only be so lucky to have a pretty girl keeping tabs on him (or at least believing she does), but the yellow eyes and haughty, almost mocking, demeanor cost her major brownie points. then it's just unnerving. if she had less of that tall, mysterious beauty thing going on, he might actually be a little outwardly mad.

Well, when you put it like that, yeah. Being able to switch between so many on the fly is a really nifty skill to have. I guess eventually you'd get tired of looking at the same one. [as if they're talking about swapping action figures instead of irreplaceable pieces of the soul.]

[Seeing someone who's lost sight of life's brilliance...Adachi's just one of many. Although he physically doesn't seem like he's fallen prey to Apathy Syndrome, there's a lingering sense of it. It's like looking at someone who could be a part of Strega, with such emptiness, usage of their powers for their own gain, and even the pained head clutch when summoning.

Then again, Strega's "losing sight of life's brilliance" was a bit more understandable given the whole. Child experimentation/constant suppressant use with lethal side effects/Personae trying to kill them thing. Anyway:]

Variety is the spice of life indeed, but if it were merely a matter of desiring change, more Persona-users would be capable of such an ability. Don't you think so?

[Aside from the the protags and the Persona 1 and 2 gang. Let's keep Philemon out of this for now. Besides, it's not as Elizabeth could talk about wanting to change her Personae up just for variety, since she too used to use multiple Personae, until she settled with just Thanatos as a...memento of sorts.]

[he'll be the first to admit that summoning Magatsu-Izanagi can be a chore sometimes; perhaps, if he's in one of his rare introspective moods, he can even go so far as to say that he has more difficulty with it than he should. the pain is fierce and unyielding for the cluster of seconds it takes for the Persona to manifest, for its power to solidify into something less raw and more malleable -- more practical -- but so what? the pain, like anything else, can be shut out. and, in time, mastered.

he's getting better at it. it's a fact he knows all too well, which is what makes it so easy to reply to Elizabeth, the words sliding out of his mouth so effortlessly, conversationally.]

Oh, absolutely. It's a nice trick to have, but... [he scratches the side of his cheek.] ...That's all it really is in the end, if you think about it. A gimmick. It's not the same as having just one and working with that, with those limits and those boundaries and trying to see what you can break through and how.

Don't take this the wrong way, but if I'm gonna be totally honest here, it smacks of overcompensation.

[Overcompensation? The Wild Card ability is anything but that, and she is steadfast in her belief about it. Nobody knows more about it than those of the Velvet Room, although she had to come to terms with understanding the true meaning of it lately.]

And what would one with the wild card ability be overcompensating for?

[Is she indulging him? Maybe. Or maybe she just wants another look into a mind that she can't understand.]
