You know, I really don't appreciate this.

I mean, I need a break. Nobody would argue with you there. This is not my finest hour, and it's hard to take some time to come to terms with things with my mom calling me every four seconds and the news blaring out the latest depressing insanity going on. I definitely need to recoup so I can keep going. But I don't think you and I have the same definition of 'recoup'. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just don't see how going to a completely different world is going to make anything better. Things are getting pretty frantic right now. We're right at that tipping point of making real change or at least a major push for it.

...what do mean, there are people from Earth there? Old Earth, before it was blown up? And they're subpar? And no one's mistreating them? Everything's actually equal? I - I - everything I've worked for is just status quo somewhere? I need to go. I need to take notes. I need to figure out how to implement whatever they're doing back home. Think about how the world could change, how it already is in other places. This is a great idea! We need to get in immediately. I want to meet everyone. Crap, does my hair look okay?
