I started here in hopes of finding the truth about my past, but ever since I arrived, I've been getting all kinds of stories... I just don't know anything anymore.

Who am I? Who is "Shadow"? Why can't I remember anything?

That purple cat... She was the most confounding of all. A Knight of the Round Table? There's no way... But then I met that Knight.

[ Shakes his head, looking dismayed. ]

You brought me here, you told me that you would help me find the truth about my past. Was it all a farce? I'm not playing your games anymore.

I hope that you can find it here. Things are confusing enough for us when we do have all the answers-- well, most of them, that is. I don't think anyone really knows all of them for sure. My own mundane is still plotting and expanding my world and past every day.

My past and present are both a work in progress. Though she does have many of the most important points worked out, the finer details are still a bit... fuzzy.

Oh, I know who I am. I'm me. My past not yet being set in stone doesn't change that. It just means that how I became the me I am is subject to change.

So... does your mundane have any plans for you? Where could a gentleman like yourself call home?

She doesn't have plans for me. She might be putting me in the "specialzone", but I think that's all.

[she sits beside him, turning to flash that ever-present smile at him.]

What is your world like, Shadow? I can't say that I've ever met anyone like you before.

[ When she sits next to him, Shadow remains standing, though their height difference isn't much like this. He can't help but be curious about her. He'd never seen anyone with horns and grey skin. ]

My world? I don't know much about it. It's large and vast, with lots of blue oceans and giant creatures. I'd travelled the air, the sea, the jungle... All in one day, and I'm certain there's even more to it than that.

There is a lot to see and do.

It sounds exciting. You've traveled over the sea? [she's a little wide-eyed. in her world, going anywhere near the sea is dangerous, but especially for someone of her caste.]

That's amazing. What was it like?

[she realizes just how excited she's gotten.]

... a-ah-- I've... never been to the sea.

[ Tilts his head a bit, trying to remember. ]

I'm not sure if I had or hadn't before... But I do know that my experience now is enough. The air was salty, the water was worm. Everything was bright with the sun shining down. Had I not been in such a hurry, I'm sure it would have been... good to stay there for a while.

That sounds so beautiful. I wish... well. I suppose it's a little pointless to wish that I could visit my own now...
