There's a lot of work to do. A lot of people are missing, but I'm not sure I'm the right choice for this. You have detectives and a prosecutor for a reason. Their abilities are more suitable than mine, even if you think I have a better head on my shoulders. I hope you didn't call me into existence just to smooth things over with everyone and try to play therapist, because I'm really not a good guy for that.

But... if being here, at the head of things, means I get to figure out what happened to Ian, then I suppose I don't have a choice. [Even if he doesn't like admitting that sort of thing out loud.] I want him to come back, one way or another. I'll find a way to make it happen.
