Guess who just finished the series.

No, don't be foolish.

...he'll be back.

Certainly wouldn't mind a couple suggestions

((OOC: As an aside I looked up Ichijou and I do find it funny he is in arm's reach of a former master thief XD))

I do wonder what you mean by that, but I won't pry.

Granted his stint in America was mainly stealing from crooked executives and revealing their crimes

Not exactly. I've been more focused on saving others I suppose.

[He also has a lot of trust issues, but he won't be admitting to that.]

I suppose it is more my line of work now. I work for the government in the United Kingdom. Something of a special investigation force.

Although my career before that was more of a solitary pursuit.

I could divulge it here without repercussions. You won't remember this conversation if you return to your universe.

No, it was more like I was scouted out. They made a very compelling argument that I should switch careers.

It's how the mundanes operate the way they do without ruining the flow of time for everyone involved.

[He nods.]

They made it seem to be the best option. I never saw myself as one for government work, but once I was employed I made sure to give them nothing to complain about.

My skills and experience were useful to them. I also couldn't go back to my previous line of work. Call it a debilitating injury I suppose, but I could no longer function in the environment I was once accustomed to.

In the end it was necessary.
