It's very considerate of you to feel sympathy for my collection and want to help me fix it. But then you're a fellow collector after all. No worries, I can rebuild and require what I lost. Luckily, my precious items and specimens weren't incinerated by the cosmic  energy backlash of the Infinity Stone. Ask for the stone itself, well there are still three others out there and I still have The Aether. Besides I don't envy Xandar right now. Thanos will be knocking on their door any day now...

Now then tell me more, my mundane, of Terra or Earth as you call it and these "Avengers" and if they would indeed be a worthy addition for my trove...

Hmmm, perhaps.... Tell what do you think would happen if I tried to add the you of my universe, you're fellow Guardians and these Avengers from Terra to my collection? My mundane tell me you are all are going to be very valuable in the near future and well my dear Howard could use the company.

I may not look it much but I am very old and powerful cosmic being. There are reasons why I'm one of the very few who know how to manage the Stones. I just dislike having to exerting myself with violence.

I know what you are capable of, Tivan. [A pause.] I have no interest in seeing you angry. But if you want my help, all you have to do is ask nicely.

Collecting things is what keeps me alive after all these millennium. To stop, would mean death. I collect therefore I am. And may I tell you, Mr. Quill that by give the Power Stone to the Nova Corps, you have just condemn Xandar to far worse fate then what Ronan would have brought.... Thanos will come for it and in time for you and you're friends.
