It is your fault the world is out of balance. And your decision to close the portals between our world and the spirit world was foolish to say the least. There should not be an Avatar. By bringing 'balance' to the world you have divided people.

I acted in ignorance when I separated Raava and Vaatu. And there probably shouldn't be an Avatar... But there is. It was the only way to beat Vaatu. And I don't think my decision to close the portals was a foolish one. It was the best one at the time. I had no other way of making sure another human didn't make the same mistake I did in listening to Vaatu and acting without the full story.

My only goal in bringing balance is to do for Raava what she can no longer do due to my actions. I never wanted the people to be divided. I wanted them to learn to live together in peace the way I had learned to live with the spirits. All I can do now, is try to fix my mistakes. In this lifetime and all the ones to come.

I too have been referred to as a "bad guy" simply for wishing to protect my own library and prevent the misuse of my knowledge.
