Killed by the Brood. Think big nasty space hive bugs. Heed's race and the Brood are natural enemies. They took over our home world a while back, we've been trying to get it back since then.

Heed doesn't know what they are, but probably. Brood get all over the place and infect places, even humans like yeh could start turning into one of them if the Brood Queen infects yeh.

Funny. Ours was more into stealing tech/ And blowing up planets. [No real reason for that. They treated it almost like a religion.]
