In the end, aren't all our actions performed upon a whim? Even if you carefully contemplate yourself for a thousand years, at some point you must have that singular moment of 'I shall act now' that constitutes a whim.
[And now there are two three eyed gods in this post.]
But is that true? All motivations, no matter how intricate, must begin as a seed known as 'desire.' Desires are not brought about by thought, but my feelings.
Can you not? Please listen to my cultivated thoughts, but disagreeing is fine.
When faced with a deadly beast, does a person think 'what dreadful claws, what fearful fangs, what frightful size', then decide that it is best to fear and run? No- from their soul first, they feel it. Terror induces them to move before they have time to use reason or logic, the desire for safety. This same thing is what creates thought. One does not contemplate an action without motivation. A motivation is born at the moment one feels. Love, anger, despair and above all fear- first them, then thought. Knowing ones own soul... That is how to truly realise ones motivations.
[Philosophy- when you're stuck unable to move for centuries, you think a lot.]
Feelings bring about sudden action. But not true action. True action is done deliberately though thought and planning. It is easy to say that a movement brought about by desire is an action, but it ends when that feeling or need is satisfied. There is no true movement behind it, this it does not last. For an action to be a true action, there must be both thought and desire.
[Please, she has spent the last few centuries contemplating her next rise to power from beyond the grave. She does not really care for your philosophy, or for your and it shows in her eyes and body.]
[Throwing up his hands and grinning widely, he attempts to look disarming. The fact all his smiles are lopsided doesn't help.]
I'm not saying there's no use in thinking! I'm saying it's impossible to detach your thoughts from their true roots! Even if the scale is so grand the entire world spins around an idea, that idea is still born from the momentary emotion that spawned it. So long as the one that is acting isn't just an empty machine, of course.
[With no warning whatsoever, he then pulls a goofy face. He makes excellent use of his four-fold eyes. The red set point outwards whilst the white point inwards, splitting their shared pupil. Hooking his mouth with his fingers, he pulls them up at the corners into a finally equally balanced smile.]
[After a second or so of that, he snaps back to 'normal' and to that expressionless look. Though with the addition of a slight sticking out of his tongue.]
[Instantly becoming enveloped in child like wonder, Asura sits crossed legged without lowering himself, floating on the spot. Hands on knees and leaning forward, fascinated.]
Can you do it? Can you really make the world a place where people will be at ease?
Hmm... I've mixed feelings! To restrict them physically is massively tyrannical, but isn't setting their hearts free in a world that matches them an unmatchable miracle? Isn't the soul greater than the body?
[He closes his eyes, arms crossed, thinking deeply.]
Hmm. I spent the last eight hundred years dreaming and I cannot say I ever had such a convenient one as 'anything I wish is there.' It's the nature of all things to not understand their true desires... Unless they have the great insight to see through any sort of illusion as I do.
[His third eye shines blood red for a moment.]
What people want and what makes them happy are entirely different things.
[Ignoring him isn't enough to get him to stop, as Vegeta can certainly testify. He'll keep talking regardless.] So what sorta thing are you trying to do back home?

I did just say they operate hand-in-hand.

And you are an annoyance.

How could I forget about this?
It's fine, I disappear for a while sometimes too.
[No Asura, you are the villain, not the hero.]
What's the method, darling dear lady?
;3;
[In other words, she's eating their life force and brainwashing the lot of them.]
T3T
[He closes his eyes, arms crossed, thinking deeply.]
Either way... it's quite fantastic...

I believe the matter lies with the heart, instead of the physical realm.

I tend to agree... But, I am always opposed to oppression! It's a difficult position for me to decide if I like your plan or not, lovely lady.
...What's the dream world like?

...haaaah... That's so good! It's really cheap, but that's what makes it effective.
