...I mean sure, I like to think I'm a hero in my own mind, I've even helped people out back in my world from time to time. I just worry that maybe throwing the "hero" thing around out loud might draw more trouble than I actually want.

But my mundane seems to think I couldn't last more than five minutes without accidentally setting something on fire or letting it slip that I actually happen to be part dragon. Isn't that the sort of thing the bad guys would try to take advantage of?

I wouldn't know, far as I gathered comic heroes are still a ways away in my time. But if they know that you're a giant, man-eating reptile, I do not think they will approach you.

Superheroes are abundant in society nowadays. Is your definition of a superhero some caped crusader jumping from rooftop to rooftop?

Actually I'm not sure what my definition is, what I know about superheroes I picked up from my mun, and so far all I know about them is that they come in all shapes and sizes with a whole bunch of complications.

My mun seems to think I've got the skills, but I'm not so sure myself.

Heroes tend to be the common man who lends a helping hand. They can range from ones who take up a profession - like firefighters or police - to the stressed salaryman who happened to knock out an armed robber at the right time.

Anyone can become a hero, so it's not always a matter of your skill set.

I don't even know what my mun's going to do with me...Considering that I come from an entire world full of dragons and other stuff she's not sure how to change that slightly so I'd fit more into the setting, then again I'm pretty sure there's some super heroes that come from different dimensions and stuff right?

Yup! Lots of other dimension guys running around from what I've seen. Also there's other planets--I mean, hello, alien watch--and hidden societies. I mean, you look human, so who knows how many other dragons are out there walking among us, right?

It's a good idea to at least get a mask. I didn't have a costume at first and then one showed up on my doorstep one day that was tricked out all for me. Kinda creepy, but not like I can have a good disguise that's easy to hide on a teenager's allowance. Plus superheroing means I can't exactly have a steady part-time job.
