You know, for someone who keeps saying she's already got too many of us, you sure do keep collecting more.

I'm sure your mun might slow down sooner or later. My mun did. Then she makes these weird sad faces at the ones she doesn't use anymore.

[Steph rolls her eyes then offers her hand]

Steph Rogers.

Knowing how many she's got up here already, I doubt it. She pretty much doesn't let go of any, but I'm not going to argue too much.

[she accepts the handshake easily] Figured you might be. Wilson, Ariel Wilson.

[Firm handshake. Something all Wilsons have in common?]

Go by Falcon too?

[Probably, that and the easy smile]

[She easily smiles back]

[And she can't help grinning about that, too, because she thought she was grounded for good]

Oh no, what did Stark do to them?

[She's slightly worried. She'd seen how Stark eyed her bike]

Nothing, just made them lighter-weight, better motion reactivity. No flamethrowers, pretty sure everybody made sure he didn't put those in.

[she gives a small sigh of relief]

You can never be too sure.

Especially when you're dealing with Stark. Still haven't taken him up on the offer of a nest on the roof, pretty sure that's Barton's territory anyway.

You two might make a beautiful nest together, just saying.

[she grins at that]

Sure, with the thrift-store furniture, dog-eared porno mags on the coffee table and only so-bad-they're-good movies from the 90s.

It'll be great.

[Really it's hard to tell just what part of this she's joking about]

[Steph's trying to figure out what part was a joke]

Bad they're good movies from the 90s?

Yeah, you know, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the Faculty, George of the Jungle, Idle Hands, uh... Well, Lost Boys is 80s, and it's just good, not bad-good, but I think we can make an exception for that one.

[All of which went right over her head. She reaches for her notebook to jot them down]

... wait, seriously, none of those? Damn Barton's slacking.

Been busy.

[She gives her a look that says, "cleaning up the mess that the world's been leaving."]

Yeah, okay, fair point.

[Probably the only valid excuse for not having seen Lost Boys yet.]

But once things settle down again, maybe. Might need to dust off the rabbit ears.

I think once things settle down we'll pretty much have earned a movie night or two.

Maybe after 40 winks.

[But she still needs to go after Bucky]

[She'd figured finding Bucky was prior to things settling down]

Yeah. Save the world. Take a nap. THEN movies.

Only if you bring the popcorn. That's if you can keep up.

Popcorn I can do. Breakfast and movie snacks are pretty much the extent of my culinary expertise.

What can you make for breakfast other than some great eggs?

Waffles, french toast, pancakes, hell, I can even do crepes if I've got the time.

And I can do scrambled eggs, fried eggs, fold-over omelets, rolled omelets, even eggs Benedict if I've got sauce, can't do eggs Benedict without Hollandaise sauce.

That sounds delicious.

[Her stomach growls and Steph gives a sheepish look]

[she laughs] So you're the same as me, start talking about food and you get hungry.

I'm always hungry, actually.

Well that ain't a good way to be. Snacks are good for you and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
