In which the mun makes too much effort for such a silly thing...
You didn't really have to go through all that just because I wanted to stretch my metaphorical wings again.
But it's certainly appreciated, so I'm not sure if I should apologize for the trouble or thank you for the effort.
[The smile offered is sincere and easy and would probably almost look out of place... if he was blue and black, and the insignia was purple instead of red.]
... And since I know you're incredulous, yes, this was one of the better variations. [Yes, he's talking about the paintjob.] Besides, I rather like it; can't let Dirge have all the bright colours!
