I'm surprised you came forward. Must be pretty scary facing a Sky Knight on your own.

[He's just going to ignore the first comment. Piper has no idea what she's talking about.]

Me? Afraid of you? Don't delude yourself, Sky Knight. We both know you're not match for me. Not without Piper here to give you a hand with the Binding.

...Okay, so I need a little backup sometimes. But that's just it. Working as a team is what makes us strong. And you're just as alone as I am.

[ He's... aware of the fact that such a blanket statement includes her. Which might be why he sheathes his blades and sort of awkwardly stands there. He'd extend a hand but this is Cyclonis. ]

...You know, we can call this a truce, for now. I don't wanna fight you. Not here.

[Her eyes narrow some. She catches the meaning and thinks of refuting it. She doesn't need any of them. They were all pawns on the board, even Dark Ace. And each she is willing to sacrifice. Though, Aerrow's next statement catches her attention more. She looks at him for a moment, eyes judging him.]

...Very well. A truce. It isn't as if fighting here would be of any use. This is temporary, however. Let's not forget that.

[ His eyes brighten. And now he offers his hand to shake. Even if he's mostly expecting her to slap it away. ]

Good. It's a truce, then. Temporarily.

So. Umm... How's the muse life been treating you? [ awkwarddd ]

[She stares at the offered hand for a moment before rolling her eyes. She reaches out slowly to take it. Fine. A shake. It's as good a contract as any. Even if she has to touch him. She keeps it short before pulling her hand away.]

Muse life? Tediously boring, if you must know. And I am sure the same can be said of your experience thus far.

[ Aerrow counts that as a victory! But then he also counts finishing his chores as a victory, so, take that as you will. ]

Eh... maybe a little. But I'm working on jazzing things up a bit. I figure I've just gotta put myself out there - be proactive, you know? ...I've gotta at least try to find my team.

[ This is so surreal! Talking to Cyclonis, face to face! He is weirded out but also kind of cheerful. ]

[He can count it as he wants. In Cyclonis's mind, this is a means to an end. Maybe the Sky Knight could lead her somewhere to, at the least, curb her boredom.]

I know your name and Piper's. As of yet, you're the only two to warrant my attention. The others I care little about.

[She raises an eyebrow. It's an odd reaction.] Perhaps I should remind you. While my forces are your sole enemy, I have many Sky Knight squadrons as mine.

You and your squadron are not my only foes. To remember the names of every squadron member would be time consuming.

...Though I will admit, you Storm Hawks are the greatest thorns in my side. [Perhaps she's trying to cheer him up? That or she's being strangely honest.]

[ He is trying pretty hard to keep this conversation upbeat. It's difficult, and still weird, but rather this than letting it turn into a fight. They did call a truce. ]

Only on days when they fail me. Unlike you, I don't often 'hang out' or take days off.

Anyway, I talked to Piper once on here, too. But that was a while ago. I'm still hoping she'll show up, but I guess for now I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed. But hey - at least my mundane was happy to see you, Cyclonis. [ veeery slight eyeroll, if you were watching for it. ]

Then perhaps your mundane has better tastes than I thought. [Was that a jab because of the eyeroll? Probably. It is definitely a jab.]

So Aerrow, your mun finding anywhere they would like to sent you yet?

...Not yet. Piper offered to go somewhere together, but my mundane is... flaky. We lost contact.

[ Sheepish look. ]

We're kinda considering it again, though. Maybe.

You, sadly, are not alone with that experience. They can be...unreliable.

Well, perhaps your mun will find some game to spark their flickering attention. Mine has an idea, though somehow he believes others should be taken there before me.
