So...are we going to talk about how I've only gone one parent and the other parent seems to change with whoever's playing around?

Ugh, you're just gonna tempt my mun to try and do something similar with... Thor and Storm, apparently. Guess that one makes sense.

Sounds kinda kooky having a shifting parent. I assuming that two of those are the Carters, and my mun kind of suspects there's a certain armoured guy in there too. That's sweet about painting for your pops though, kiddo. Wish I were that creatively minded sometimes.

[she crosses her arms, trying to look as menacing as an 8 year old can get.]

[Awww, it's kinda cute really.]

Yeah you're definitely your dad's girl all right. Not sure what you think is 'potty' in all that though.

Anyway, I'm Eric. Your dad is kind of my boss, least when Barton or Stark isn't anyway.

[She sticks her hand out to him]

Nice to meet you, Eric. I'm Sarah.

[she coughs a little and turns away to cough into her elbow]

...excuse me.

Nice to meet you too, Sarah.

[He's about to shake her hand politely when she coughs, raising an eyebrow on his part.]

You ok?

[She tucks her hair behind her ear]

Yeah, I'm not in as great of a shape as pops is.

[She's got a long list of ailments]

Aw, that sucks. Guess the, ah, Super Soldier Serum didn't end up being a genetical transferred thingie. And I gather before he took the serum you dad was... erm, weedy?

Still, I bet you're awesome in other ways, right?

Pops was just as neat before the serum.

[She drags him over to look at her various paintings. Much more skilled than what an 8 year old should be capable of]

But I love painting. Pops only sketches but I love paint.

Yeah, what matters is what's on the... ah, inside, right? [Awkward expression, Eric has not always lived up to that one. Or in some cases too well. He has an impressed expression at her paintings though, for her age they're amazing.]

These are brilliant! I bet your dad loves them. I couldn't draw for s- ahem, toffee when I was your age. You should keep that up, kiddo.

[She eyes him when she hears the beginning of the s word then nods when he says toffee]

I wanna be an artist. I know Pops says he wants the best for me but I don't know if I can be an Avenger.

You don't have to be a super hero to be great you know, Sarah. And I'm sure whatever you do when you grow up your dad will be proud of you.

You think so?

Sure. Mean all I can do is shrink and I somehow manage awesome stuff. And dads are supposed to be proud of you.

[she looks up at him]

Is your dad proud of you?

[He makes a face.] Sorta. He's a firefighter and I think he figured I'd be the same. And he doesn't know I'm a super hero. So I'm not sure. Probably.

Why doesn't he know you're a superhero?

[She pushes her long hair back away from her face and looks up at him, ready to hear what he has to say]

Well we don't see each other that often, he's up in Vermont and I live in New York mostly these days. Plus I doubt he'd believe me if I didn't have the suit to hand.

Why don't you visit him?

[...what.] Who are you?

I'm Sarah!

[she cocks her head at her]
