((Long overdue hissy fit. Caution: her telepathy will get loud. Canon is Primal Rage!))
You. FOOL! You think you can keep that bit of information from ME?! [Have the most furious hiss ever to come out of that mouth full of very sharp looking teeth, everyone. This very powerful and wicked cobrasaur becomes enraged over an enabling from last week.
I-It's more Xelly's fault than Mun's, she swears!]
I despise Xel'lotath even MORE, FOR WHAT SHE'S DONE! I promise you, I will CUT through to remove her eye. I'll shrink it, eat it, and have the rest of her pretrified and turned to DUST!
I'll arrange it so her new colleague will watch! Yes!! [Insert your Holy CRAP, That is One Scary Crazy Evil Laugh here. Vertigo's slipped deep into Basket Case Mode.]
Then, I'll do worse to him! [There's more laughter, to which would scare the pee out of most.]
I'll even bring Diablo with me, if I must! If I choose to do that, then I'll let him roast and feast on Xel'lotath's corpse.

Vertigo is actually so much bigger in her true size.
It doesn't take long for this terrible goddess to notice the human. She tilts her head, her slitted pupil violet eyes showing an intense dementia.]
And why would you be in my presence? [That female voice Caitlin hears in her head sounds very dangerous, carrying an intent that Vertigo just might harm her.]
no subject
You're loud. Stop shoutin', you're botherin' everyone. (She had been completely asleep until that shouting started and the Irishwoman is not a morning person.)
no subject
To sow seeds of hate is to recieve hate oneself. To harm is to be harmed. Why do you feel the need to do things that will only damage yourself in time?
no subject
Vertigo cared not for the well being of humans. She took over two Urth parallels, and they both had so many. The billions of them were her property, and right now she was mildly contemplating whether or not Caitlin would be worth it to do her most powerful of dark juju on her mind. Or she could just kill her. Or shrink her down to be small enough to chomp up and snack on.
Vertigo's "voice" seems a bit mocking as those violet snake eyes flash a golden glow a moment before returning to their original color.]
Poor thing. You should know; I answer to no human... [She telepathically chuckles at Caitlin.] Bothering them is, in the very least, less terrible than slaughter or enslavement.
[She says that like it's no big deal. She doesn't even feel sorry for talking like that. Vertigo is cruel, selfish, despicable, evil, and unstable--an absolute monster in every sense of the word. If her entire prehistoric spiky and scaly appearance wasn't enough, the way she spoke would certainly give off that vibe...]
no subject
Well, you should know, I don't answer to anything that -isn't- human and I won't die or be enslaved by the likes of you...

Most other gods, apart from the black and red Tyrannosaur god of evil who she allowed co-rule both Urth worlds alongside her, were either rivals or nuisances. Or both. Zhen Chan so far is only a nuisance in her eyes, and her mood was far from being uplifted.
Her own aura emits waves of pitch blackness, and madness. In a terse hiss comes Vertigo's telepathic tone as she replies.]
You dare to attempt to meddle into my affairs? Ha! I care not for what god you are, nor your views of right and wrong.
[More venom seeps into her tone that borders on stating threats.]
The Nexus is to be mine, and mine alone. No one elses. I will not allow other gods to overrun it. I refuse, and what I intend to do is not your concern.
no subject
Well, aren't you special... [She starts to move closer, threatening to invade the woman's personal space, as this goddess has no concept of it.]
You wouldn't want to tempt me to prove you wrong. To alter that prickly but interesting mind of yours... [That dark forked tongue goes out, then back in, fairly close to where Caitlin's nose would be.]
no subject
(Of course, she feels as if she was not special at all, purely someone who would be able to do such "foolish" or "dangerous" things and if it went wrong someone would not be missed. With an increasingly annoyed expression, she bitingly says.)
Prickly? Funny, the last I checked I wasn' a hedgehog.

With his left hand palm up and his right straight fingered down, Zhen Chan performs a hand symbol that represents enlightenment overcoming darkness. It's not a magical gesture, but a reflection of his own mental state and conviction.]
What harms is wrong. What helps is right. That is a truth that the willingly ignorant ignore for their own sake. What is the purpose in seeking to obtain something that will only be destroyed by your own evil? Instead, you should focus upon conquering yourself.
Or you will never know any form of joy, and will be destroyed by your own actions.
no subject
[Sorry Vertigo, there's +1 Crawling Chaos here now just loving every second of mark-ness coming from you. Nothing's better than an Ancient going ballistic over being trolled.]
no subject
[Very easily, and subtly, she reads her mind. Vertigo knows how touchy most humans get about doing so, without their consent. Frequently, she does this of her own leisure, whether or not it's evident humans would prefer to say as little as about themselves in possible. Past the human's name, Vertigo's getting to know a bit more, psychically peeking at her memories.]
Oh? You know Peter Petrelli, hm? That's interesting... I've seen him before, at Nexus. Fascinating world, it is.
no subject
She's simply irritated by his very presence.]
I do not wish to destroy. No. I'd only like to have the world as an expansion to my territory.
Any god who dares to challenge me or stand in my way are the ones that end up being destroyed. Understand? [Yes, that can be interpreted as a threat. She's not afraid to dish out the pain either, if she deems it necessary.]
If it is my happiness you're concerned about, then let me assure you; once I end Xel'lotath and her games, it would be a great victory. She is far more destructive than I. There is absolutely no order to her methods. None.
no subject
That's none of your business. (The woman glares at Vertigo, the goddess obviously managing to hit a nerve by mentioning Peter's name. She does not mention Nexus, even though she was somewhat aware that he had been there for some time.)
no subject
Destruction is more than causing something to cease to exist. To taint is the same as to destroy. In order to take wood, one must reduce a forest to nothing and in doing so end the forest without destroying the wood. In the same way, the things you believe will bring you joy can only cause fleeting indulgence. Will you be satisfied with what you have once you have it? Why would you be? Your initial wish is irrational and will continue to grow.
[Placing his hands together, he briefly contemplates the true message he wishes to send. Zhen Chan believes that even beings with the most wicked of roots can be improved upon through guidance, even if that guidance must be forcefully imposed.]
If you act in a dangerous manner, you only invite danger into yourself. If you perform injustice, you will invite justice. If I must be that justice myself, so be it, but it will occur in time unless you listen to wisdom and bring harmony upon yourself.
[Genuinely preaching to an evil dinosaur goddess. There are no limits to his good hearted nature. Aside from the evil darkness within he cannot expunge, but believes he already has, but that should hardly count.]
no subject
Is that so...
[Having this primal goddess going ballistic at you would not be wise. She's a ruthless, brutal fighter, who does not fight fair.]
no subject
Anyone who ever came to the Nexus is my business, for one day it will be mine.
no subject
It won't. There's more than enough people there who will stop you.
no subject
So, what did ol' Xelly do to you? Trick you into crossing with the wrong whip-wielding archeologist?
[Nyal's all eager, no regard for her own safety. Then again, when you make a habit out of getting curbstomped by Demonbane, you lose all sense of self-preservation.]
no subject
Hahaha, and you hadn't lost a brother sometime ago either?
[Have more telepathic laughter to make Caitlin feel more unsettled, just before she gloats a little.]
Not nearly enough. The numbers of warriors I have outnumber them all greatly. Hannah will have to transfer them over, since a certain Pest and I both know I'll have my claws full with those two bumbling other gods.
no subject
Shut up. Shut up. SHUT UP!
no subject
I don't even fear danger! Those who have challenged me in the past failed! The threats of the past, I conquered.
Take your lectures to someone who cares! What I seek is no business of yours. [Zhen Chan gets glowered at, as icily as Vertigo can muster. (The question her pest of a mun wonders if he could take on all three mad god and goddesses. Luckily, Vertigo's too irritated with Zhen Chan to even pick up on that.]
You'll only share Xel'lotath's, this Kinshin Asura's, and all their creatures' fates if you attempt to interfere.
[Vertigo considers to silently that she just might have to seek Diablo's aid. Soon.]
no subject
What she did was NO MERE TRICK!! According to THE PEST, she invited ANOTHER GOD to the Nexus!
One mad goddess such as Xel'lotath is ENOUGH! If this Kinshin Asura is anything like her, I will see to it that she suffers long and slow.
no subject
Caitlin's anger makes Vertigo smug as her bad mood has been very well uplifted.]
Ahaaah. As predicted I figured that was a sensitive spot... It hurts many terribly to lose someone so close to their hearts.
Especially when that loved one is killed.
Tell me, is Peter the only one you have in your life?
[This fiend just lets her assume the worst.]
no subject
But, you...you have no right mentioning my brother or Peter. So, shut your damn mouth!
(Caitlin suddenly lunges at Vertigo shouting curses at her.)
no subject
Who knows how such a conflict could go?]
..Vile spawn... I see you have no trace of reason within you. Persist this path and die- that is the only future ahead on that road.
no subject
An idea just came to her as she was slipping deeply into Basket Case Mode; beating, biting, and harming her into submission. Yes. Vertigo decided readily to do it, and enjoy it...]
no subject
[She's getting enraged now, letting out a HsSsSsSS. Repeatedly, she tells him to back off, GET LOST, and he doesn't! She's getting it into her wicked and twisted mind that he's threatening her.]
I WON'T PERISH! NO ONE will succeed in killing ME!
I already have my future secured!! It may involve YOUR DEATH, if you're going to be so PERSISTENT about it!
