Oh why Disney do you always kill off the parents?

Do not feel sad for me. I am so proud of my daughters. They have grown into beautiful young women with so much of their mother in them, for which I am glad. I am thankful for Elsa's wisdom, and Anna's optimism. Do not worry for them, for I do not.  I will always be watching over them, and with them, in their hearts.

(A now grown Elsa's eyes widen when she hears her father speaking but she remains silent and standing far away from him.)

[Even if she knows the kind of things that can happen here... She is still shocked to see her father, to hear him talk. The shock wears off and leaves only shame, though, upon listening to what he says. Proud of them. Elsa's wisdom. There was no reason for him to be proud of her, of the daughter that failed him, her sister and Arendelle as a whole, neither has she any wisdom. If she did, she would have been able to do something that wouldn't have ruined the sacrifices their family did because of her.]

Papa... I don't think there's anything to be proud about regarding me, I'm sorry, I tried my best but... I failed you. I couldn't learn to keep my powers hidden.

[Not only that but lately in the place she's in she has been using them more and more, almost like before the accident. No, her father had no reason to be proud of her or think of her as anything but a disappointment.]

...I assume you speak of one of the other world's Elsas, since Anna is alive. You were never proud of me. I never gave you reason to be.
