[So, not only am I being whisked away from my Student Council duties without my permission, but I'm going to lose some of my memories and have to fight to get them back? While I can't say I don't like the challenge, I can't approve of an unwarranted lobotomy and sudden vacation. Besides, I have a lot to attend to once we get back to school, there simply isn't time for this.

What do you mean it doesn't matter? Just because it's not your school doesn't mean you can brush it off like that! The Student Council serves a very important role in Yamaku, not to mention I'm class president of 3-3 as well. Nothing will get done at all without Misha or me there!

[No kidding... the idea of snapping morse code comes to mind but is immediately discarded as extremely stupid. All she can do is just tap her foot in annoyance without rhythm as she considers the problem...

[Feferi's sign language isn't the best, but she manages a 'calm down, it's going to be okay' before pulling out her PDA from her pocket.

Without using her quirk or text color, she writes:]

Don't worry so much. There are a few other students with hearing disabilities in Rakuen, and they do just fine. One of them is teaching me sign language, so I could probably help you out some, even if mine isn't that great. Oh! Right. I'm Feferi. I'm one of the prefects in Conquest.

[She makes sure to sign that slowly and clearly, as well as the rest of what she says... not that it'll help if Feferi doesn't know the words]

[It's not that I'm worried about.] [Rather, she didn't even mention that much, but of course anyone would think that would be her concern.] [The idea of losing memories is more disturbing to me than anything.]

[Ah, I see. The memory part is the hardest thing to deal with. But even that isn't so bad.]

[Emi doesn't know sign language other than the bit she picked up at the school! But she is very excited to see someone else - in her usual excited kind of way.]

Hakamichi! What are you doing here?

[Oh. Wait.. Did she speak slow enough? Does Shizune know how to lip read? Clumsily she signs a 'hi'. And that's it. Because that's almost the extent of what she knows.]

[Contrary to popular belief, lip-reading is incredibly hard and considering Shizune was born this way, she has absolutely no skill in it. Knowing Emi though, she can sort of guess anyway and gives her a small smile and waves hello.]

[Apparently I'm being sent to another school.]

[That's all she signs before she starts digging out a pad of paper and pencil though.]

[All that Emi got there was "school". Which only led her to believe that Shizune was talking about Yamaku. Which was definitely mistaken! Still, she was relieved when she saw the pen and pencil, seizing it with her usual exuberance!]
