I know, right? Exactly. I refuse to abandon all hope and settle into despair even before anything's actually happened. I understand how mun feels, having to wait in quiet agony until September, but I'm not going to let her drive herself mental with worry.

Well. I have all the reason to worry anyway. But I'm trying to take my own advice and not get myself worked up too much. The scientist in me wants to get all the facts now so I have something to process, and the regular Jemma side of me just wants to do something to fix this, to make it better.

[She pauses to gather her wits and find her calm.]

[ Yeah. He's just keeping his distance - Not to far- just enough to have some respect for whatever relationship Fitz and Simmons had. He got it, he was the newbie. ]

I'm sure everything going to be fine. I'll admit my one regret was I did'nt get to punch out Ward but I think Agent May did the honours well enough.

[ There's a pause after that before he's staring over at Simmons for a moment.]

He'll be fine and setting the drags on fire in no time.

[The mental image of Agent Triplett punching Ward makes her glad, and she laughs softly.]

Perhaps you'll get a chance to do that. Maybe we should ask Coulson to arrange a meeting.

[His encouragement is very welcome, and she's happy to have someone as lovely as him on board. After the events at the Hub, after he's proven where his loyalties lie, Jemma feels a stronger affinity to him. Finding out that Ward is HYDRA was a huge blow to her heart, and though she's not inclined to totally trust anyone new for now, she appreciates having Agent Triplett as an ally.]

He would, wouldn't he? Silly Fitz.

[ He had very strong feelings about Garrett and Ward. Garrett's dead, so hey, Ward it is. Living in his shadow tended to eat away at Trip.]

I think Commander Coulson has a few more things on his plate then indulging that particular need.

[ He was just as happy to know that Simmons wasn't a turncoat. Though, perhaps Ward's secret hit him in a very different way from the rest the group. He's happy he just has a place to belong, at least for the time being. A place his grandfather could be proud of.]

He would. I'm sure curtains will be huddling in fear again in no time.
